On Highlights
Q:   Is the BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus the same for all colleges?
A:

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field.

Q:   Is the BTech CSE syllabus the same across all colleges?
A:

The BTech CSE syllabus differs on the basis of the college offering the course. Every college follows a particular coursework pattern set by the college committee. Though the subjects might vary, the overall conceptual framework is more or less similar for students to get hold of the important concepts of the CSE field.

The syllabus includes core subjects, elective subject choices, practical lab work, workshops, and a final year research project.

Q:   What is covered in Machine Design subject in B.Tech course?
A:

Dear candidate, the subject of Machine Design basically teaches you about the designing fundamentals of various types of machinery across industries. You get to learn about the different ways in which elements can be combined to form an equipment or machine system and get the work done in an effective manner.

The knowledge of this subject is very important for a mechanical engineer as he/she will have to put this to use in the future whenever they enter the workforce as a mechanical engineering professional.

Hope this cleared your doubt. Have a good day.

Excellent teaching, strong placements, great infrastructure & facilities but very few fests.
Placements: 70 percent of students are placed. Packages range from 6 LPA to 24 LPA. Top recruiters include Cognizant, Zoho, and Solidtron. Solidtron recruited around 30 percent of students. Most offers were internships without specific job roles. Very good placements are granted here.
Infrastructure: There are nearly 10 labs available for our course and classrooms with smart board technology. The biggest library in the city is available in our college. Hostel facilities are awesome, food is excellent, and 24/7 medical facility is available inside the college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant to my course and makes students equipped for future needs. Out of 10 semester exams, the level is 6/10. The pass percentage is 50 percent, which means students can pass the exams if they are well-focused during class hours. More or less, practical knowledge is checked.
Other: A good place to study and become a well-equipped engineer, but very few fests are celebrated in our college.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2013

When I was studying, it was a startup college, so no recognition.
Placements: We have passed out in 2013. No core company came for campus. Only BPOs came. I'm in a core industry also. Marketing offers only came for us from good companies. Almost EEE and ECE, students were placed in good companies but civil and mechanical students did not get good placements.
Infrastructure: When I studied, we were the first batch student passed out from the startup college. Still constructions were happening when we completed our degree. Hostel facility is okay only on those days. Bus facility is good and so many students came from remote location to college by college buses.
Faculty: Lecturers were helpful and friendly behavior. Course is good and lecturer were taught theoretically. Those initial days, there was no laboratory facility in engineering campus so we used to go Diploma campus to attend laboratory. Later days, laboratory facilities were constructed and now all labs are available in engineering campus itself.
Other: I have chosen this course because basically I came from Diploma with mechanical background.
