Students can also gain admission into B.Tech. programs direct and it is equally compulsory for the students to take the university's internal management quota in order to gain admission into the college. Approximately, one-third or even half of the students get admitted under the management quota, and the rest 50-60 % join the college through merit based on TNEA scores. As per the process of direct admission, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with 50% for general and 45% for the reserved category. Candidates must have also Physics, Mathematics and any of the following: Chemistry; Biology; Biotechnology as compulsory subjects. The management quota fees vary between Rupees one lac fifty thousand and Rupees two lac fifty thousand per annum depending on the branch and availability of the seats.
