HPCL is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) and a Forbes 2000 company. HPCL owns and operates two major refineries producing a wide variety of petroleum fuels and specialities, one in Mumbai (West Coast) of 7.5 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MMTPA) capacity and the other in Visakhapatnam, (East Coast) with a capacity of 8.3 MMTPA. GATE enrollment ID is created at time of registration. It is a login credential. GATE registration is roll number given to students. The registration number is printed on hall ticket.
To retrieve GATE enrollment ID, candidates must keep their mobile number and email ID. The process can be checked below-
- Go to gate2026.iitg.ac.in
- Click on "forgot enrollment ID"
- Give OTP that is received on your mobile number
- Confirm, submit and retrieve enrollment ID

The mode of the application form is online only. Before filling out the HPCL GATE application form, candidates must check their branch and eligibilty. The steps to fill are as follows-

HPCL Recruitment through GATE 2026: Salary Breakdown and Perks
Along with basic pay, candidates will be offered 50% allowance of the basic pay under Cafeteria Approach. Also, medical benefits for self and family members are offered.
