This college has lot of facilities, faculties were mostly friendly and ready to help you in teaching

Placements: More than 90% were placed in previous years. This is a good place for studying if you are a guy who has lots of interest in placements. Top-level companies come to this college so you can get a number of opportunities if you have a 12th grade percentage higher than 60%.

Infrastructure: Labs were connected with Wi-Fi, and hostel food will be average classrooms will be efficient with air ventilation, canteen food will be good to eat, and the college has a lot of facilities, including fresh water and a place where you can get mineral water. When we talk about events, they will frequently happen.

Faculty: When we come to the qualification of teachers, they were Ph.D. pursuing or completed, through which we can understand they have lots of knowledge. The teachers were very friendly and helpful, and if you pay attention to them, you can gain a lot of knowledge, not only for exams but also practically.

Review for Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College !

Placements: Placements are good. And final years students are doing their projects for placement and preparing for campus interview. Campus interview team is more helpful in this college. There were many students to join in this college for placement and indeed placement is really great.

Infrastructure: The hostel food is average, and the facilities are sufficient. There were two hostels there: one for first-year students and another for second-year students. There was a gym in the senior hostel for second and first year students. However, foods are only available in the senior hostel, so freshers come to eat there.

Faculty: Faculty members are excellent, and the curriculum and exams for our courses are excellent. Our college staff consists of knowledgeable individuals. Because of corona issues, internal and external exams will be completed soon. The university block will be finished soon. And it will grow into a university.

Other: I chose electronic communication engineering for multiple choice like software and hardware side jobs. It will more helpful.

This is a good college with good infrastructure .

Placements: A Lot of companies are coming for placement and providing good package ranging from 3 LPA to 11 LPA. Last year, the highest package offered was 11 LPA and 3.8 LPA being the average. TCS offered package upto 7 LPA. Top recruiters are Microchip, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Zoho, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The disadvantage is that it is too hot inside the classrooms and the network is very low. The college has a sprawling green campus of 125 acres of landscape with well-furnished infrastructure. WI-FI, central library, high end computing facilities, individualized department buildings with advanced laboratories, centralized air-conditioning auditorium, Campus security cameras , Video Surveillance System, mineral water plant are available. Hostels for both boys and girls and other essential amenities like ATM and Post Office are also available.

Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and teach well. New curriculum has been designed based on Industry standards to make students industry ready and skill oriented. The Training and Placement Cell organizes systematic training activity throughout the year to get placement opportunities for the graduates.

Other: Many good courses are available in our college. The sports contests are conducted in our campus for all departments.

Good placement-The main mantra of smvec.

Placements: Our college has the best placement record so far with almost 100% placement each year. Top companies visit our college which includes Microchip, Zoho, TCS etc. While top tier companies recruit only a handful. The recruitment by other companies is average to good.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious and neat. We have digital classrooms with projectors for teaching with Powerpoints. The signal availability is weak which is not suitable for any online learning or exam. We have a Wi-Fi campus but students have no access to it. I am not a hostelite so I do not know much about the hostel facilities but the food quality needs to be improved which I have heard from my hostelite friends.

Faculty: Teaching quality of our college is average. Most of our teachers are knowledgeable and teach well. Our teacher also helps us in scoring good marks in semester examinations but the teaching process is obsolete as they only provide theoretical knowledge and not the practical knowledge. Therefore students need to put extra efforts to be industry ready.

Other: Overall college life is good and satisfactory. We students would request to conduct events like Fests or Cultural programmes to make our college life memorable. It will reduce stress and make learning easy.

I am satisfied with good staff and friends.

Placements: Around 500 students got placements. The minimum salary package is 4 LPA to 10 LPA. TCS, CTS, HCL, Microchip, etc. offer placements. Around 50% of students got an internship in Hexaware, TCS, and CTS. Programmer analyst is a top role. Placement training is also good.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available. Quality is good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are not enough. Canteens provide good food. Mess food is not tasty.

Faculty: Teachers and teaching quality were good. They were helpful, qualified, and well knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant. Exams are not difficult to clear. Around 95% is the pass percentage. Teachers were friendly to communicate.

Other: I didn't choose this course. I got through CENTAC. The course is best to know about hardware. They didn't conduct any festivals. The surroundings were good. Campus crowd is good because there are many courses.

Everything is perfect in our college, and every student can join here to get good placements.

Placements: About 70 to 80% of students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 1 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, TCS, Microchip, Wipro, Caar etc. More than 50% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi facilities. All the labs are well-maintained. The classrooms are neat and clean with regular maintenance. The library has all major books of every author. The hostel food is very good and tasty to eat. Medical facilities are available here.

Faculty: All the faculty members are good at teaching. All the professors have good knowledge. The course is relevant and according to the industry needs. The syllabus is changed according to the industry needs. Students are trained very well.

It is a good college in Pondicherry.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. TCS is the top recruiting company of our course. More than 70% of students got an internship from all top multinational companies like TCS, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our college. Our college provides very large and smart classrooms. There is a central library, and each department has a small library. I am a daily scholar, but I have visited the boy's hostel once. Rooms are large enough in the hostel.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching is excellent. All our courses are new because of autonomy, and it makes all students ready for industrial work. We need to study hard, and all the questions are technically analyzing questions.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: 70% of students get placed every year. Our college brings in good companies like Zoho, TCS etc. So, it is good to study in this college. No worries about getting a job, as you can get placed in your 3rd year itself.

Infrastructure: Our college has a canteen, bus facilities, hostel, etho-tech labs etc. Our college has a library, many classrooms, computer labs and mechanical labs. Our college provides good infrastructure. Lab facilities are good.

Faculty: Our college is autonomous, so it is very helpful to place students in companies. Our college teachers teach practically so that students get ready for placements. Our college is autonomous, so it has more facilities than other universities.

Other: Our college has technology labs. The campus crowd is now higher than the past few years, and our college introduced arts and science for the students. Some medical courses are also available in our college.
