- The COMEDK UGET 2026 result will be declared on May 29, 2026 for Sri Sairam College of Engineering admission to the BE/BTech programme.
- The MAT 2026 PBT mode registration deadline for admission to the MBA course has passed. For the PBT mode, the exam will be held on May 31, 2026. Further, for the CBT mode, the registration window is open till Jun 8, 2026, for the exam scheduled for Jun 14, 2026.
- The KMAT Karnataka 2026 session 1 registrations are ongoing for admission to the MBA/PGDM and MCA courses. The last date will be announced soon.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam for admission to the ME/MTech programmes has been conducted. For the MBA and MCA courses, the exam will now be held on Jun 14, 2026.
- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
- The KCET 2026 exam has concluded for admission to the BE/BTech course, with the results to be out soon.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students in the course were placed through campus placement. The highest package offered was around 16 LPA, with an average package of 3 - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture. Nearly 70% of students secured internships.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped classrooms, modern laboratories, and campus-wide high-speed Wi-Fi that supports academic activities and research. We have a specialized portal "Edumate" which tracks our academic performances and attendance. We have access to a library with a wide range of collections.

Placements: In our college, around 70-80% of the students are placed every year. The highest package is around 16 LPA. Infosys, Zoho, Cognizant, TCS, and HCL are software-based companies, while ABB, Siemens, and Johnson Control are hardware companies placed in our college. Internships are offered by companies like Zoho, Wipro, HCL, ABB, etc. Software development, software engineering, and data analyst roles are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, placement facilities, internships offered, and Wi-Fi is also provided with faculty support for all events and food facilities. Water is provided. Clean infrastructure, and a playground is available, and we have been taken on industrial visits to gain practical knowledge.
Faculty: Professors are well-trained in their subjects and have good knowledge of the course. The course is more relevant and helps to improve our knowledge. Workshops are conducted to gain more insight into the topics, and this helps students to get placed in companies. No difficulties are faced by the students in the semester exams.
Other: I chose electrical engineering because it is a more interesting subject, and core companies have more value in the market. Gaining practical knowledge helps a lot in interviews. More technical and non-technical events are conducted on campus, and I have participated in many events and won prizes.

Placements: In our college, around 68-86% of the students are placed every year. The highest package is around 16 LPA. Companies from IT and Software include TCS and Infosys. Companies from Hardware are ABB, Johnson Controls, Schneider, etc. Internship opportunities are available from TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Zoho, etc.
Infrastructure: Food, infrastructure, water facilities, and other facilities are good in the hostel. College facilities are also good. They are providing Wi-Fi facilities in both the college and hostel. Transport facilities for both college and hostel are also available. The security system in the hostel is good. Indoor sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable about their subjects, and their teaching quality is good for easy understanding. It is relevant to the curriculum, and they are providing training, workshops, and IV to meet industry expectations. There are no difficulties in the semester exams and curriculum as well.
Other: I chose the electrical department because I can have options for software and hardware companies in placement. I am learning the subject from the basics. There are many events conducted in college, like IEEE Day, IEEE Society activities, workshops, AICW training, Power BI, EV, and mock AMCAT. Technical events are conducted in our college every year from all the departments. NCC and NSS also have a major focus in our college.

In our college, we have very good placements and internship opportunities with good infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students were placed in our college, the highest package was 12 Lacs, TCS, ABB, and more companies like Infosys, Delta X. We get more internship opportunities in various companies, the top roles offered are software testing, software development, and more.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have all the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, and a library. We have very good hostel facilities with good quality of food in the mess.
