It is an online computer-based test required for BDes admission. Apart from SMEAT, aspirants can also apply for BDes based on national-level entrance exams like UCEED or SAT India. 

IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am – 12 noon). The exam had two mandatory parts: the computer-based Part A and the offline Part B. Yes, Srishti Manipal accepts CEED score for admission to MDes programme. However, it is no mandatory to qualify CEED. Aspirants can appear for SMEAT conducted by Srishti College. Applicants who have taken CEED examination can exempt from Test 1 of SMEAT if their All India Rank is 500 or below provided they are able to submit their result at the time of application.
