Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) does not release official MET question papers, however candidates can check sample papers to understand how examination will be held. Using MET sample papers, candidates can know important information such as pattern, weightage, important topics and more.

MET exam is held as a computer based test in two phases. Based on MET scores, candidates will be considered for admission into BTech courses offered by participating campuses. Manipal Entrance Test will consist of Multiple Choice Questions and Numerical Answer Type Questions of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. What is the MET 2026 exam pattern?

MET exam pattern 2026 has been released online. Through pattern, candidates can check how authorities will conduct entrance examination. It is important to know the pattern before starting exam preparation. According to MET syllabus, exam will consist of questions from 12th standard Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

  • Before starting preparation, candidates have to study official MET exam pattern and syllabus.
  • A proper timetable has to be prepared so that candidates can complete syllabus before examination.

Q:   Will MET be held as an online test?
A:

MET will be conducted as an online test. Students will have to report to exam centres. MET will be held in available systems at exam centre. Offline exam will not be held.

Q:   What is the MET marking scheme?
A:

MET marking details is released online. Correct answers will be given four marks. One mark will be cut for incorrect answers in Multiple Choice Questions. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers to Numerical Answer Type Questions.

Admissions are not guaranteed to students if MET cutoff is met. Since other factors are also involved in allotment, just meeting cutoff may not be enough. However, it will give them higher chances of admission into their preferences.

The MAHE MET Cutoff 2025 has been released branch and institute-wise. For admission to the MPharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis course, the cutoff for the General AI category candidates was 564 in 2025.
