Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) does not release official MET question papers, however candidates can check sample papers to understand how examination will be held. Using MET sample papers, candidates can know important information such as pattern, weightage, important topics and more.
MET exam is held as a computer based test in two phases. Based on MET scores, candidates will be considered for admission into BTech courses offered by participating campuses. Manipal Entrance Test will consist of Multiple Choice Questions and Numerical Answer Type Questions of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. MET will be conducted as an online test. Students will have to report to exam centres. MET will be held in available systems at exam centre. Offline exam will not be held.
MET marking details is released online. Correct answers will be given four marks. One mark will be cut for incorrect answers in Multiple Choice Questions. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers to Numerical Answer Type Questions.

MET 2026 Preparation Tips

MET 2026 Mock Test
MAHE releases MET mock test 2026 online at manipal.edu. Through mock test, candidates can prepare for the exam and understand how it will be conducted. No login credentials are needed to use the online mock test. While mock test will be similar to exam, there will some differences in pattern. In MET mock test, students will have to attempt 18 questions within 60 minutes. However, according to MET exam pattern, the entrance examination will be 2 hours in which 60 questions have to be attempted. Candidates can follow steps given below to access mock test.

- Just click on 'Sign In'.
- Mock test will start on screen.
- All interested candidates can attempt mock test. They will have to finish it within given time.
