I am satisfied and getting the opportunity to study at this college was my dream.
Placements: More than 30% percentage students placed in various banks and companies. The highest package offered in my course was 4 LPA, and the lowest package was 1 LPA. Recruiting mainly in clerical posts in banks. The Highest-Paying Jobs in Politics, Economist, and Chief of staff. Policy analyst. Lawyer. B.A. is a good degree, especially for the preparation for entrance exams such as UPSC.
Infrastructure: The college is average and well-disciplined. Infrastructure: The classrooms are average in size. The library is big enough and has been built recently. Availability of labs, The college has a boys' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Gym
The college has a well-equipped fitness center. It is open for students on all working days. The fitness center is managed by the Department of Physical Education. St. George's College, Aruvithura was established in 1965. The Library was upgraded as a first-grade library and the post of a first-grade Librarian and an IV-grade librarian were sanctioned in 1978. 32330 books, 58 periodicals, 250 CDS, and 8 newspapers are available in the college library. 400 books are allotted for a walk with Scholar Programme and Scholar Support Programme. The college has a sports facility for all the students.
Faculty: The department of political science was established in 1980 with the motto of maximum efforts, maximum knowledge, and maximum realisation. Teachers' quality is a good standard. Teachers encourage and help us to actively participate and get engaged in different other areas like cultural and social activities. Students shall have to obtain a minimum of 36% marks in each paper separately from the theory and practical examinations.
Other: Political Science is excellent preparation for a career. The study of political science prepares students for a variety of careers including law, journalism, international affairs, elementary and secondary education, and positions in government agencies and political offices. Events, fest, surroundings, and extracurricular activities are very good in st George college.
