St. Joseph's College, Jakhama Scholarships and Funding
Students can apply financial assistance from state
government, central government and other national agencies which includes-
1. Nagaland Post Metric Central Scholarship
2. Manipur Scholarship
3. Nagaland Merit Scholarship, Government. of Nagaland
4. Manipur Merit Scholarship, Government. of Manipur
Scholarships and freeships are given to the under-privileged students, SC/ST Students, Students with physical disabilities & Overseas students
College provide Tuition Fee Concession to the students from economically poor backgrounds. In the year 2019-2020, 50 students from undergraduate level and 3 students from postgraduate level (Total of 53 students benefited in the academic year) was provided Tuition fee concession partially or fully depending on the financial situation and the request from the students.
In Addition to it students also get scholarship under the scheme of (1) Post Matric National Scholarship and (2) Post Metric State Scholarship from the Government of Nagaland. Since 99% of the the students of the college belongs to Scheduled Tribe almost all of them get the scholarship under the central scheme or state scheme.

Placements: The placement team provides comprehensive support throughout the entire process, from the beginning of placement training to the end of job placement. As a result, the overall placement rate at my college is very good, and most students are successful in securing employment.
Placements: About 60% of the students in my course were placed. The packages offered are quite typical compared to other colleges. Unfortunately, no internships were provided, and no activities or initiatives were organized to help students secure internships. Non-recruiting companies were available for the course but didn't lead to internships or placements.
Placements: 80 students out of 3000 students are admitted to this course. The average package for this course is around 40000–45000 INR per year. There are not many companies recruiting students from this course, as per the 2023 analysis. Students get internships from across India and abroad, but the percent of students getting internships is very low currently. This course offers a wide knowledge of different topics in one domain. Placements: There are no recruiters as of yet in the college. Internship is a part of curriculum only for the BBA students in their final year. The course provides you an opportunity to learn the basics of industries and it makes you ready for it.
Placements: Our college has a total of about 4,500 students. I am from the 2019 to 2022 BBA batch, and there are about 73 students in our batch. Many opportunities are provided by the college. It is a very reputed college in the overall Northeast.
