The curriculum was very well designed, and sufficient for students who were prepared for a career in the public sector. Semester exams were more difficult and varied in closure due to the grades involved.

Faculty: Faculty members were all experienced and elderly people in 40s and 50s. They were very friendly and very strict. They knew the limits and were experts in handling the class. Course was very relevant. It was based on the CSIR NET and GATE syllabus so it will definitely help in competitive exams. Semester examination was there in the department for M.Sc. students and also classes were held in the department.
