Best college in Thrissur district with an NIRF ranking of 57th position.
Placements: In our college, they have a placement cell that had a huge placement in 2024, with about 318 placements. The highest salary in the previous year was 16 LPA for an M.Com student who is now working as an Assistant Manager in Federal Bank, and the lowest salary package is about 2.5-3 LPA. The top recruiters of our college are Accenture, which hired about 118 students from our college in 2024. Our department's students get internships in IT sectors like TCS, Accenture, etc. The top role offered in our course is according to personal choice, and most of them are offered as Junior Software Developers.
Infrastructure: Our department has a computer lab that has 50+ computers for each student for their studies and lab work. The lab also has Wi-Fi facilities. Our college has a huge library which was built at a cost of 10 crores. This is the biggest college library in Thrissur.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and they are well-qualified and experienced. Most of them have Ph.Ds., and one of our professors has a Ph.D. and M.Phil. qualification. He is also our placement cell dean. The curriculum is very useful because it makes our foundation in Computer Science stronger.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue a career in the IT sector and grow in it. I also can go for any Computer Science-related job in the industry with this course. Our college has different fests and programs conducted by different departments. Our college also provides scholarship assistance for different scholarships like the NSP scholarship, etc.

Really good placement, best-quality teachers, good infrastructure, a good college.
Placements: There are 849 students studying in the final year, and about 385 students got placements. The college is the top placement college in Kerala. The minimum salary package is 3 LPAs. The recruiting companies are Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Amazon, MRF, EY, etc. They are recruited as web developers, cybersecurity specialists, programmers, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a large digital library, which is the best library in Kerala, and enough computers, a lab, Wi-Fi for every essential study material. The classrooms are decent and have projectors and Wi-Fi. The college hostel provides good food for a decent price.
Faculty: I will give 5 stars for the teaching quality. St. Thomas College has the 64th NRF ranking and is the top NRF ranking college in Kerala. They take the exam at the correct time without delay. The college follows the California University syllabus. The difficulty level of the exam is medium.
Other: Better placement than any other college in Kerala.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the lack of campus. Have brilliant academics and placement rates.
Placements: Our college has Kerala's best placement cell. Around 30% of students are placed every year in our college. The average starting salary package of our placed students is 3 Lacs per annum. Our college recruits students to Federal Bank and other famous companies.
Infrastructure: Labs are available for every practical subject. We have built a huge library, spending around 3 crores in our college. The food provided in the hostel mess is average. Not high-quality food. Our college is first in sports and every sector, including academics, at the university level.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and qualified. The method of teaching of most is easily catchable, but some are poor. Even though they have high education, some are poor in teaching. We are autonomous, so we have the same syllabus as the university level but different question papers. Our semester exams are comparatively difficult. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: Events, department fests, and other extracurricular activities are conducted in our college. The biggest negative of our college is its lack of campus. Though it was built almost 130 years ago, our blocks are located at a small distance from each other.

College is in town, and that is an advantage.
Placements: B.Sc. computer science has high placement in our college. Top recruiting companies are idfc bank, amazon, etc. The fees is very low. I absolutely recommend this college to everyone.
Infrastructure: It has 3 computer labs. Friendly and talented teachers. Hostel is nearby the college, but the food is not good. Good quality labs are available, and we have practicals and record for computer science course. Technically, good course.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, and too good at teaching. They conduct seminars, and lab tests make students fit for the future. Semester exams are average. First two semesters are average, but the rest are a little difficult.
Other: I love computer and coding. We don't have campus life, and it is boring. It is located in the central town, and so all the facilities are available.

Placements: The placements cell in this college is always active and very supportive for all matters regarding the placements for the students. All students can apply for placements in this college and attend the interviews. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, and TCS.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in this college are satisfactory. All the laboratories and classrooms are well maintained, and all the students can get visit library during the working hours. The Wi-Fi is not available for the students to use. All basic amenities are provided in this college.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The curriculum is helpful for students in their future for advancements in their careers. The teaching quality is good. The semester exams are punctual and organized.
Other: This college is better to encourage arts.

Review of St. Thomas College.
Placements: There are many placement opportunities available in the college. A lot of companies like Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc., have been approaching the college for various placement drives. The placement cell is active too. It coordinates all the placement drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and highly modern. All the labs and classroom facilities are outstanding. There is Wi-Fi available but it is not available for the students to use. The hostel and medical facilities are also good. Sports and games are supported well in our college.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good and makes students industry-ready. Teaching is good. The exams are punctual and also the exams are up to date. The teachers are knowledgeable and the quality of teaching is high. The course curriculum is relevant.
