    State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM), Durgapur, is an initiation of the state.
    Placements: About 99% of students were placed from our course. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 1.65 LPA. About 100% of students got internships from our course in Park, Leela, Hyatt, Fortune, etc.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and the library are completely air-conditioned here. The quantity of food served is good in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities, sports and games like football, cricket, table tennis, etc., are available here. Our institute has a well-equipped state-of-the-art computer lab which can accommodate at least 35 students at a time. Individual PC stations available here help and enable the faculty members to focus on the learning outcomes of every student separately and to provide corrective coaching to the desired level of practice and perfection.
    Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are very friendly. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. The faculty members are exposed to direct teaching skills and are well versed to design the training programme. They will be able to share their knowledge with students. They also provide updated information about the industry, its changes and modify the teaching accordingly. They are also involved in research and development, producing journals and periodicals and be able to provide necessary guidance to students. LCD projectors, multimedia, overhead projectors and CDS on every subject area are some of the audio-visual aids used extensively by the faculty members to ensure a more effective learning environment for students. The faculty members take training courses and programmes like direct training skills, design of training, training needs analysis, computer courses offered by NCHMCT, etc., to provide required training which can translate into meaningful and effective performance.
    Other: I chose this course because I can have good career growth and earn more money by doing a job in the best hotels. Events, fest and extracurricular activities are organised from time to time. Scholarships are provided.

    Absolutely value for money and satisfied .
    Placements: Maximum students of our college is passed out with high positions. The highest package has goes to 12 Lacs per annum And the lowest is 3laks per annum but the average salary is the 5 Lacs 5 star hotel recruiting with high class companies About 92% students got the internship and gets the chance to achieve their goals. Various departments are provided with teachers .
    Infrastructure: Overall facilities and infrastructure are excellent here. Wi-Fi facilities, library, classrooms and different departmental labs are provided. Hostel facility overall good and the food condition is average depending on which hostel you are booking for.
    Faculty: The teachers are very knowoedgable and qualified and very helpful also. Their way of studying us is totally different and understandable. Various works programs and dedication makes the students ready industry. Semester exams are not much as tough as CBSE exam. If the student will prepare for the exam then definitely he or she will score greater marks. And the pass percentage is the 40.
    Other: I want to be financially rich that's why I have taken this course. It has given me a chance to go abroad and made my life better.
