It's my second home, and it's my emotions.
Placements: 95% students were placed in the course. Wipro company is hiring for our course.
98% students got an internship from our course in Wipro company. Role of account, cashier offer in our course. Also offering from banking line. Because it's the best line for B.Com.
Infrastructure: Our college has a library, Wi-Fi, IT labs and many labs. Our canteen was too good and hygienic. The rate was too low. We have medical facilities. Sports and games we enjoy. Each and every year, celebrated sports are celebrated. Indoor games, outdoor games, everything has.
Faculty: Each and every department teacher was helpful. Qualified and knowledgeable. This course has a summer internship curriculum with activities. Semester exam in this college is given without any fear because it's too easy for us due to our teachers. Come to our college and enjoy.
Other: My college participated in every event, like Rabindra Jayanti, Saraswati Puja, Basanta Utsav, Teachers' Day, Freshers ' Day, and Social. There are extracurricular activities like seminars on different topics. Internship
and scholarships were available, like Kanasree and Swami Vivekananda scholarship.

Our college is not for dreamers.
Placements: In our college, every type of student was placed in my course. The highest was upto Rs 5,000 per month. The lowest salary was Rs 2,000 per month. In our college, there was no campus, so you could not get any opportunities from my college. In my course, you learned basic things and other knowledge.
Infrastructure: In our college, students had library, lab, and computers. Also for geography students had a specific lab for map pointing. First of all, there was no hostel college provided. College canteen food was average. Also, there was a union whose always there for students' help. Every year they celebrated sports day. Also, there was a medium size auditorium that celebrated other special days.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was too good. There was no curriculum relevant but students were ready for their industry. Exams were not that much difficult. The pass percentage was 20 out of 60.
Other: I chose my course because I wanted to do another course besides this course. Best thing about my course was that it was not that much hard so if you want to do another course, you would definitely do that with the suggestions from teachers and the syllabus. In our college, there were no extracurricular activities.

Surendranath College for Women: A Mixed Bag of Experiences.
Placements: Placement is not offered here, but what is taught practically will definitely be useful. Even video editing and photography (Adobe), news writing (QuarkEXpress) - all these things are taught. This college has its own tabloid which will provide opportunities in the field of news internship.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and bathrooms are always clean. The library is also well stocked with suitable books. Canteen food is prepared cleanly enough to maintain hygiene. Lab facilities (computers, Wi-Fi) are also very good. Sports and events are also held which encourage the students.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and teach well. The difficulty level of semester exams at Surendranath College for Women in Kolkata can vary, but generally, they are considered challenging. The gap between two semester exams is typically around 4 months on average. As for the pass percentage, specific data isn't readily available, but it's essential to prepare diligently to succeed.

Good Teaching Quality, but Bad Campus.
Placements: The college does not offer any kind of placement opportunities. However, many of the students have been offered with opportunities of well-established publication houses, such as Ananda Publishers, Panorama etc. The college does not ensure any kind of job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The department is well-organized and well-equipped. The professors use projectors and presentations while teaching, for better understanding of the subject. Hostel facilities are not available in the college, but the Students' Union might help you find a convenient hostel near the campus.
Faculty: The teaching quality is great. They ensure that all queries are answered through the question answers session. The department also organizes insightful seminars and extra curricular activities. They encourage the students from all the semesters to participate in those activities, sometimes they also take part in them. There are total 6 exams in 6 semesters, including internals and term papers. The professors will prepare you thoroughly for the exams.
Other: Many sports events and cultural events are organized by the Students' Union. The college also offers NCC Candidateship facilities. However, the campus is not big enough and may seem a little congested. If you are looking for a college with good academic values in a low budget, Surendranath College For Women will best fit in this category. But if you can afford better colleges, I would suggest you to consider other options.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college.
Placements: About 30%-40% of the students from our course get placed every year. The salary package offered depends on the students' knowledge. The average salary package offered was 10 LPA. About 30% of the students got an internship. Top companies like Airtel, Lenovo, Wipro, Amazon, etc., visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in our college as well as in the hostel, but it has a very slow network connection. Labs are clean and well-equipped. There is a library on the 2nd floor, and students can get books there. Our department is on the top floor, but there is no elevator facility in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and qualified. They are PhD holders. If I need any kind of help, then they will help me. Teachers always prepare us. The course curriculum is relevant. If students pursue this course, then they can opt for a master's and then for PhD to gain knowledge about applied physiology.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was interested in biology in high school. I want to know about the human body to gain knowledge.

It's a good reputed college of Calcutta, and it comes under Calcutta University.
Placements: I'm in my final year and I've heard from seniors that recruiters do recruit from our college and minimum 30 students get selected on an average. The salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA. Companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus.
Infrastructure: We have a library, gym, canteen, and water drinking facilities. One can also find transportation very easily. It is near to Sealdah Station. Besides that, one can go to College Street, MG Road within 10 minutes. It is a good college for women with convenient timing.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, communicative, and supportive. They explain the concept very conveniently and in the easiest way possible. We have sufficient gaps in between classes so can have their tiffins and other activities easily. There is no pressurisation.
Other: I opted for this college because it is a good college.
