Faculty members and infrastructure are satisfied.

Faculty: All faculty members were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. This course was very helpful, as computer knowledge was required everywhere. As it was a practical based course, it made the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not much difficult.

It's the best college for this course.

Faculty: The teachers are so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is so good. Overall, I am satisfied. This course curriculum is so relevant that it makes the students industry-ready. This college semester exam was so difficult and exceptional, but the pass percentage of 60 percent is so good.

Dissatisfied with the teaching staff and faculty members, but other infrastructures are good.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified. All have done their M.Sc. in Statistics, but their teaching quality is not so good. Some try to teach but are average in explaining, while some can't make students understand the concepts. They just make us write. Our guest lecturer, Debjit Majumdar sir, is one who teaches very well, is very friendly with the students, and always helps us when we need it the most. He is the true gem of the statistics department. This course is currently one of the top market-demanding st...

Decent college, average faculty.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable, most explain topics in a simple way, so it's easy to follow. Course is mostly relevant and gives a fair idea about industry needs. Exams are moderate, not very tough if you study well, and pass percentage is decent.

Good faculty, affordable fees, no campus placement, poor infrastructure.

Faculty: I got approximately 5.9+ SGPA. Faculty members are knowledgeable, helpful professors, and the curriculum is aligned with the University of Calcutta CBCS syllabus for B.Sc. Honours in Physiology. Internal assessments are conducted during the semester based on attendance, assignments, or written internal tests. Teachers are good, helpful, understanding, average-qualified, and well-educated. Semesters are hard, but if we study well, an average of 70% of students pass the exam in each semester; howe...

The course and college both are good as well as the facilities and placements.

Faculty: Teachers of our department are very helpful and friendly, you can freely ask them any question without any hesitation and they also answer us in a way where every student will understand their saying. We do learn inside and outside the classrooms. They didn't cage our minds into the simple concept but helped us invade and understand the bigger context. This course is very relevant and this course is a practical course so they made us do practical sessions for better learning. The exams are quite...

Faculty: The teaching quality was really good. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams were not that difficult. Teachers were helpful and guided us for the semester exams to perform our best. My percentage was 63. All the teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable.

My personal favorite: Surendranath College.

Faculty: Academically, it's so much better than rest. Our faculty and HOD are solving any type of problem very nicely. The college excels in academics with a strong curriculum, dedicated faculty, and ample research.

One of the best college under the University of Calcutta having an absolutely great faculty.

Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and provide all the possible help to the students regarding studies and extra curricular activities. The teaching and non teaching staff is very friendly and cooperative in nature. The semester exams are pretty difficult compared to the other Universities. The checking pattern is also different.

As a government college, it's a good one and affordable.

Faculty: The faculty is friendly and good, trying their best to make things clear for us. The department also organizes various seminars and extracurricular activities. They encourage students from all semesters to participate in those activities, and sometimes they also take part in them.

Aside from placements, college is a good value for money.

Faculty: The faculty of Surendranath College are mostly helpful and cooperative. They help us if we are facing any problem. The curriculum of our course is also well-designed and advanced. Our college conducts semester examinations in August and January. The minimum passing percentage is 35%.

Very bad college, do not even think to take admission unless you want to waste your precious years.

Faculty: The course structure is good but many teachers of our college are very rude and does not bother to help students. However some teachers are good. The syllabus is somehow completed on time, but the students are not able to understand most of the things. As a result, the semester exams become extremely hard if you do not study on your own.

Low fees, good value for money other than placements.

Faculty: Most of our teachers are very helpful and understanding. They teach in a very interesting manner and also complete the syllabus and assignments on time. The course curriculum is also pretty good and the examinations conducted by our college are not that hard. You can easily pass the exams if you study properly.

Decent college, but not so developed placement process .

Faculty: The faculty and teaching staffs of our college are mostly helpful except a few of them. Most of the teachers are well qualified as well. Our course curriculum is as per the latest standards, and the semester examinations are comparatively hard. You need to study year round to score good marks.
