The college has a great campus life with good teachers.
Placements: I guess 40% of B.Com students had been placed in companies, but it requires your own ability to excel and win the race to get a good job. The highest package was 9LPA, and the lowest package offered was 4LPA. Accounting was the major field for getting a good job.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was quite good, and the buildings were pretty beautiful. Wi-Fi was not available all the time as they do not share the password with students. The library was good for books related to my course. The hostel facility was not that advanced, so try getting a PG outside the campus. The food was not that healthy, but quite edible, and sports and games were not given much attention by the authorities.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and quite helpful with the students, and they share a good bond with them. The semester exams were of moderate difficulty, and the practicals were quite advanced to pass, but if you pay attention in class and attend at least 50% of the classes, you were sure to excel in the practicals as well.
Other: Campus life was very good and exciting. We had fests quite a lot of time in the year, and we enjoy them very much.

Good college compared to other colleges in Sealdah.
Placements: I'm from the 2023-2026 batch, pursuing a B.Com at my college. Around 40%-50% students got placed from our course, not too high but okay for an average college. The highest package is around 6 LPA, the lowest is like 1.8 LPA, and the average stays near 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, and some local firms came for placements. For internships, maybe 60% students got it. Some do through college, and some on their own, such as companies like National Vocational Academy of India.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructure of Surendranath Evening College is average. Classrooms are basic, the library is decent with limited books, and there's no proper Wi-Fi or lab setup for general courses. Hostel facilities are okay, but not very clean or modern. The food in the canteen is average and sometimes repetitive. Medical help is minimal, sports, and games facilities are almost negligible.

SNEC College review of Kolkata.
Placements: Around 45 percent of students were placed in our college. The sports curriculum is good, the staff is also nice, the student union is good, the teachers behave well with you, and they help you whenever you need it. The classroom is huge; it fits around 200 people.
Infrastructure: The sports available there are cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, and carrom. The canteen has decent quality food. Outside the canteen, there are lots of trees, which give you a nice vibe and there is a fish aquarium with a variety of fish.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful the staff are also nice; they help you. The teachers help you whenever you need their help. The staff is always there for you and the student union is always ready to help you. They solve your problem within a couple of minutes.

Better opportunity for all.
Placements: There are no notable company visits for placement. The roles offered to students are mainly in the laboratory. Surendranath College is not popular for placement assistance, but after studying at this college, students' skills can be enhanced in various sectors .
Infrastructure: Everything is good, like the canteen; classrooms are clean; there are large numbers of computers; and they also arrange sports like cricket. I would like you to suggest that you take admission at Surendranath College for better education facilities and to explore new things.
Faculty: The semester exams were quite tough but the number of passed students is incredible. And the professors are so friendly, help us in study and motivate us. The passing percentage of students in Surendranath Evening College was about to 80-85%.

Don't like union members, good friendly teachers, good spot for a college.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide any type of placement opportunities, atleast not for B.A. courses. They occasionally hold counseling or course discussion like seminar. Many students already have jobs completely unrelated to their course. Some faculty members can be discouraging in terms of job or internship.
Infrastructure: When I joined college they were renovation the infrastructure and some work is still being done at present. Teachers and faculty staff have Wi-Fi but None for students. Canteen is subpar and only used by a few number of students. Library is good but not a wide selection of books.
Faculty: The teachers for our course are helpful and are very knowledgeable but except for one senior teacher who can quite fickle other teachers from B.A. English Honours would rather not do anything outside of routine nothing that would be labelled as extra curricular. The semester exam taken by our college was easy, and most students passed.
Other: I chose this course because it is the only subject I am confident in and I like stories. More discussion and regular classes would be very good for our study. Campus crowd activities can be fun and are done very frequently but one annoying thing is seniors and union members forces everyone on campus to participate every event regardless of the wishers said students.
