That's why many students opt for higher studies in India or abroad, such as Ph.D. or postdoc, and a few get research assistant jobs.

B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028
1.8

Review of Central University of Karnataka.
Placements: Placements are not very high, but the education is good. Placements are low, which is why their NAAC rating is B+. The college is relatively new, so some departments do not have many placements yet. The Psychology department has good placements, so if you are interested in that department, you can join.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and hostel are good. Compared to other colleges, it is good. The hostel is very good, but the temperature is often very hot. Hostel facilities are good. The rooms are big, with six members in each room. Hostel facilities are provided for all students.
Faculty: Teachers are good-natured and helpful to students. They assist with studies. Exams are conducted strictly. If you study properly, you can pass the exam because the paper is not easy and have to study.

The college has dreams, but not upto the mark.
Placements: There are no maximum placements, but education is good. The placements are too low, that's why their NAAC is B+. This is not too old college, that's why they have no placements in more departments. The engineering department does not have good placements. So, if you are interested in that department, you can join.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is good compared to all colleges. The hostel is not that good, and the temperature is very hot here. The hostel facilities are good, such as rooms that are big, and in one room, 6 members are there. Hostel facilities are provided for all students.
Faculty: The teachers are good in nature, and they help students with their studies. Exams are strictly conducted. If you study properly, you can pass the exam because it's not an easy paper, you have to study for the exam. They are pretty much understandable.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2028
2.6

Read this before thinking of joining Central University of Karnataka.
Placements: Although this course is new in this university, as previously there was B.Sc. Computer Science and not B.Tech. There have been below average no. of placements in B.Sc. batch, and B.Tech first batch is yet to be completed. But this AI ML course has very interesting topics to learn.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided here I would say is average. But new hostels are being made for newcomers, and Wi-Fi and CCTV facilities are also being provided. Other than that the University is full of greenery (just not in summer season). Classrooms are also equipped with working air conditioning and smart boards. There are several games being played here and most prominent football and volleyball. The mess food is very bad. For mess food I would give 1/5 rating as there is no cleanliness during preparation. The water issue is also there sometimes. So we need to buy food from restaurants outside the university.
Faculty: If I talk about the faculty of AI ML in particular, then it's not that good as this subject is new and more experienced teachers are required, which is not available here. Other then that the course curriculum is very diverse but also out date. The semester exams have an average to above average difficulty and according to that the papers are checked.
Other: I chose this course just for the sake of getting a degree from government college with computer Science. Although the course is helping me a lot in learning new things and has a high scope in near future. The things I wish to improve in my course are the syllabus updation. We are still studying the same old syllabus and theory is being more focused than practical sessions. But the fests and events will not disappoint you, as there is always something going on in the university every 2 months.

Review of Central University of Karnataka.
Placements: Placements for the psychology department are not good. If we do internships at a good institution, then we can try to get a job there. The university is not providing that much importance to placements in our department. It's in our own hands to get proper placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good but not exceptional. The climate in this city is very hot. Wi-Fi facility is available, and regular classes are conducted. Labs are present, but they lack sufficient equipment. More resources are needed for labs, but efforts are being made to improve them.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Their teaching style is effective, making it easy to understand. They help students with study guides. They conduct exams as per the schedule. Exams are held strictly, and no cheating or other misconduct is allowed. The course curriculum is good. The course options provided are extensive.

M.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2025

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The best infrastructure and value for money.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placements in any job or teaching profession. After doing this course, most of the students are associated with teaching professions. The highest package is 8 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA, which increments over time. Students are working in various private organizations and government primary and high schools.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities here are very good. All kinds of facilities are available here, such as free internet, playgrounds on a large campus, medical facilities, and separate laboratories for each department. The classrooms here are all very advanced. There is a canteen on campus where all kinds of foods are available with good quality food at low prices. There are hostel facilities also.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are all very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the teachers is very good. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Faculty members help students with all their work. Semester exams are a bit difficult, students have to study hard to pass.

Faculty members, they are good teaching and helping students.
Placements: The placement was not very good, and only a few opportunities were provided. Although placements were offered, they were not of high quality. Very few students went for placements. The college needed to provide more and better placement opportunities. However, some students were not interested in the available placements. They have to improve more things.
Infrastructure: The hostel and course were good but not exceptional. The climate in this city was very hot. The course options provided were extensive. Wi-Fi facility was available, and regular classes were conducted. Labs were present, but they lacked sufficient equipment. Other: Course feels is too much .
