I am highly satisfied with placements, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placement percentage is about 80 percent. The highest package is about 8 LPA, the lowest is about 3 LPA, and the average is about 6 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys and other tech companies. We have many types of internships with opportunities in our college, both paid and unpaid. Some students got internships at Red Bull, Amazon, and other companies. Top roles in my course vary in terms of people's interests, some of them are code scientists and developers.

Infrastructure: We have a great infrastructure available for my course, especially with many labs for coding and in the library, we have a different section 4 only for CS students. College has decent mess and quality food, and the canteen food is great, and we upgrade sports facilities, and their extracurricular activities happen after some days to days.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable and put their referred in students' upcoming challenges and help them with any possible needs. The course curriculum is almost the same as that of all other colleges, and the college also gives us many internship opportunities, through which we can learn industry skills. The semester exams in our college are good, and the past percentage is almost 95% and above.

Other: My reason for choosing this course is that I like technology and the latest tech, so I want to engage more in using tech. Now everything is good about my course, and they have great facilities. We have approximately two fests every year, one is ICI fest, and the other is Pravah, which has great opportunities for connectivity, extra extracurricular activities and doing people.

My journey as a SKIT fresher.

Placements: 21 LPA is the highest package this year in PayPal, backed by 2 people in the college and mostly people got placed in companies like Infosys, TCS, 4 LPA around was the average package. Placement starts from the 7th semester onwards and is still going on for the current batch.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not provided, and there are a lot of internet problems. Labs and the library are good, and classrooms are a little outdated. The hostel provides facilities like sports and different clubs like S&T, Toastmasters, and there is an incubation centre, which is a great initiative. Every Wednesday is assigned for activities.

Faculty: Teachers are good, and the curriculum is 25% altered from RTU because of autonomy. Mid-semester is easy, but this year the syllabus completion was very fast, 2 midterms in a gap of 1 month, which includes a 10-day Diwali break, 2 midterms are really hectic.

Other: There are 2 fests in a year.

College is mediocre but good for low percentile students.

Placements: In our college, there is mostly mass recruitment for companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. The average package is of 3-4 LPA in mass recruitments. Mostly placements happen for the CSE branch only, and other branches like Civil and Mechanical are average.

Infrastructure: The facilities are average, you get limited Wi-Fi that is approximately 3 GB only, and sometimes the Wi-Fi signal is not available, usually in the basement area. The food quality is average, and the hygiene is medium. There is a food timetable which is followed, and you get 4 meals per day.

Faculty: Faculty is good only in the first two semesters, they are qualified, but teaching is average. The curriculum became better after the college became autonomous. Mid-semester exams are easy, and you can study one day before, but the end-of-semester exams are quite tough.

Average but good for the low percentile.

Placements: For the 2023-24 UG graduation batch, SKIT reports 915 graduates, out of which 341 were placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant are visiting for placement (for CSE). The average package is around 4-5 LPA, and most placement happens as a mass recruitment.

Infrastructure: Facilities are average, they provide limited Wi-Fi in the hostel and campus, around 3 GB/day. The library is good, but it is always crowded. Mess food is okayish, which means it is better than PGS nearby, but it's too boring to eat the same food sometimes they make the same dishes better, and sometimes they don't.

Faculty: Teachers are helping, but if you ask them otherwise, no one bothers to give you information except in the first year. Recently, they made the institute autonomous, so they are focusing more on soft skills. It's a good thing. Mid-semester exams are not that tough, but the end-of-semester exams are tough.

College life is once in a lifetime experience.

Placements: 700 to 600 students are placed this year, I think, and the top recruiter was Infosys, and others like TCS were also there. I don't know about internships, but our college provides paid and non-paid internships. The top roles are computer science engineering and civil engineering.

Infrastructure: Everything is present AC rooms, non-AC rooms, the food is good, and Wi-Fi is also available, but there is a limit of 3 GB per day. Classrooms are great, faculty members are awesome in behavior, and great sports. So that’s all that is required for you to know.

Faculty: The teachers are awesome, very helpful, and guide us at every step. The teaching quality is top-notch. The course is very relevant, and it will kind of make you industry ready. Mid-term exams are of a good level of difficulty, but end terms are tough.

Other: Everything is good.

The college campus is small. College life is boring. More oriented in study.

Placements: According to data, 2025, 500 students placed from our college. Placement is not that good. You can expect a 4.5 LPA-5 LPA package. You have to struggle, and you have to fight for placement here, but I suggest you see more options like off-campus, that will be good.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but with a limit. Labs are good. The best thing is the SKIT library, where you will get all the study material for your exams, and the environment is also good for studying. In classrooms, there are no AC in B.Teach courses. Sports facilities are also average. You can play some games here, like cricket, basketball, badminton, and football, but the grounds are not that great. There is a gym in college, but you will be charged for that.

Faculty: Teachers are good and supportive, but they only talk about studying. In classes, they come, they teach, and then they will go. If you are expecting that you don't have to study in college like IITs or NITs, then you are wrong here, you have to study hard, and you have to fight to clear exams.

Other: Fest is very little. If you want to enjoy a fest in your college life, then it will not be good for you, but if you are coming to study, then you can come here. If you have no other option, then you can consider it.
