The recent batches of Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture and Design have reveived internship opportunities across India. The popular companies that offered internships were Hero Cycle, Baxter, Shells Advertising Inc, AS Associates, Mantis Eye LLP, Manayan Architects, Acropolis, Vivart Design Studio, etc.

After the Summer Internship program, a mandatory academically credited course, holding four credits. Students from all disciplines naming Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Product Design, and Interior Space Design undergo two months of summer internships at diverse locations across the country.

Yes, the institute provides industry exposure to its students. In 2nd year student mandatorily goes in Craft internship and understands the culture of internship. In  Sem 6, students develop their portfolio under the course and with guidance of faculty. Students from all the discipline goes in for mandatory 2 months summer internship for the Industry Exposure. After the industry exposure with internship students present their work done to all their peers and juniors. After the consecutive semester in sem 8 students goes into the Sponsored degree project (Industry Internship for 6 months). After thorough exposure students opt for fulltime placements and choose the organisation as per their discipline.

The Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture and Design placements 2024 concluded with 90% of students placed. The highest package offered was INR 10 LPA. The average package for 2024 drive stood at INR 6 LPA.

The SSPAD Nagpur average package offered to the 2024 passing out batch was INR 6 LPA. Alongside this, the highest package grabbed by the students during placements 2024 was INR 10 LPA.

When you join a BDes programme, you learn about the fundamental concepts of Design in the first year. You would not be expected to have any previous knowledge or background in the field of Design. In many colleges the first semester is common for all BDes specialisations. You would learn subjects like Introduction to Design,  Elements of Design,  Creative Visualization Techniques,  Design Drawing,  Design Thinking,  Principles of Design,  Physical Ergonomics and Rendering & Illustration.
