Tamilnadu Government Polytechnic College is a good college for studying diploma courses.

Placements: There is a 100% chance of placement if you study at TNGPTC. Our teachers have tie-ups with many companies around South India, mainly Tamil Nadu. For placements, TNGPTC is the right place to study. The highest salary offered is more than Rs. 50,000 per month. I have been selected by Saint Gobain.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the hostel management system is average. The food is average. Labs are perfect. They use modern tools and machines to demonstrate the topic. The canteen is good. Interested students can participate in sports and make a career related to sports.

Faculty: Almost 80% of the lessons are fully practical, involving large machines and equipment. They make you do what you studied. Teachers are very good at teaching and they will give you full guidance on your course. Exams may be a little harder because it's an autonomous college and students get a high standard of studying.

Other: I chose this course because it is good in our college and you get placed. The hostel management should be improved. There are no events.

Our college is the best with good lab facilities and placements.

Placements: Student should have a minimum of 70% for campus interviews. Most companies select students with their knowledge. The lowest salary is Rs.12,000 per month. The higher salary is Rs.30,000 per month. Top Recruiting companies are L&T, TVs, and Ashok Leyland. My friend with 96% got placed in L&T. Main role is the maintenance of all Electrical equipment.

Infrastructure: Good labs with more machines and big central library facilities. Hostel facilities are available inside the campus. Canteen facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable to get more information. Exams are not difficult to pass. Industrial visits take place in upcoming years. The pass percentage is 40%. Teaching quality depends on the staff.
