Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2026
2.2
Decent Placement and supportive faculty.
Placements: I am an MCA student from the 2024 batch. In my course, around 30 to 40 percent of students got placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is about 6 LPA, the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies were Infosys, Asian Paints, Capgemini, TCS, and few were startups. All company offers the Internships and Final placement. The top roles offered are software development and technical support roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the MCA department is below Average. Classrooms are clean and have projectors for teaching. Some of computers labs are well maintained and in some labs the computers do not work even though they hang a lot, so it creates a problem at the time of the practical. Wi-fi is available in the department and library. The library has useful books for MCA subjects, journals, and online learning resources. I do not know about hostels, but those who live in hostels have told me that the rooms are good but they are very costly. Sports facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but some of them do not know about the topic, they just come and read the PPT, and thats it, like they do not put any effort. Some of the teachers are very good and supportive and their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and includes programming, databases and project work in every semester, which helps students to gain basic industry knowledge. The semester exam is at a moderate to difficult level. The pass percentage is around 85 to 90 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in computers and software development. The course is not the value for money as the fees are very high compared to the knowledge, lab facilities and placement support provided. They should provide the more industry exposure and advanced training to improve the course quality. The campus crowd is decent and friendly, in my batch, the classmates are supportive. The college conducts technical events, seminars, cultural programs, and fest and sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged. The other information I want to give is that the campus is well connected by public transport.

Good college and the best faculty.
Placements: Not that many good placements, but compared to other colleges, it is good in our college. Some engineering companies also come to our MCA college. The highest package is 9 LPA. The average package is 4 - 5 LPA. Because of the recession place, the salaries went very low this year.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on campus. Wi-Fi is only available in the library and a lab. The lab and computer centres are good. The infrastructure of the college is also good. Classrooms are good and have a capacity of 60 students in 1 class. There are 60 seats in labs. There are 6 labs.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and very supportive. They help you in all situations. I you want any help, they will help you definitely. All teachers are done Ph.D. Exams are also good. The curriculum is not that much hard. It is easy to understand, mostly based on practicals.

Amazing college faculty with lots of fest, good crowd, and best teaching staff to help you.
Placements: The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Companies which came for placements were good for students. Mostly, it depends on students participating in placements. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. It is good to see a person getting such an amazing salary package after completing graduation.
Infrastructure: The quality of canteen food is amazing with a huge campus and nice playground for numerous activities like play. There are lots of facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is the best that you can get from here. The course makes students ready with proper guidelines and support from teachers. Faculty members are very humble and polite. They are always ready to help you in your career.
Other: With such an amazing facility and excellent campus with a good crowd, you can have lots of fun by participating in extracurricular activities. At every fest, you will meet a celebrity in our college. You can get to participate in NCC. Our college organises different fests like Tarkash and Taarangan which are one of the best.

I am absolutely satisfied because I got placed in Accenture.
Placements: I got placed in Accenture a few days back. Placements are good in our college. According to the college placements record, about 40% of students got placed from the 2021 batch. It might be due to this Covid-19 crisis. However, from our batch, some students got placed in good product-based companies.
Infrastructure: The overall college life is good in TIMSCDR, but our college is very strict. In a week, for 2 days, you have to wear formal dresses. Wi-Fi is free in the library but not on the entire campus. You can sit in the library. Labs are also good. In every classroom, air-conditioners are available.
Faculty: Teachers here are good. If you want help, then they resolve your issues. Their teaching quality is also good, and they teach on the projector. But MCA Mumbai University syllabus is very poor because it is very old. About 40% is the pass criterion.
