Dear aspirant, The fees for the BE Programme at the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, is different for different categories of admission. For government quota under KCET, the fees are around 1 to 1.5 Lacs per year; for COMED-K quota, it is around 2 to 2.5 Lacs per year; for management quota, though it is higher, the fees perhaps also vary depending upon the branch. Dear aspirant, once you are done with BE from NIE Mysore, you can look out for various government jobs based on your specialisation and interest. These generally consist of PSUs such as BHEL, IOCL, ONGC, and NTPC, which hire people based on GATE exams, UPSC ESE for central government jobs, ISRO DRDO and SSC JE, state government engineering services and railways through the RRB JE and SSE, and banking sector specialist officer exams in IBPS and SBI, CDS and AFCAT for defense services. You can also enter teaching positions in government colleges via SET or NET ranks. All the best.

NIE Mysore has released the BE cutoffs for the year 2024. As per the latest available data, the closing rank cutoff for the General-All India based on KCET scores ranged from 12747 to 103761. Moreover, the BE course with the highest competition was Electronics and Communication Engineering. Earlier, in 2023, the cutoff for the same category of students ranged from 9018 to 82211.
