Strong core focus and decent scope.

Placements: Around 70% to 80% of students from our EEE course get placed every year through on-campus and off-campus drives. The highest package is 4.2 LPA, the lowest package is 1.8 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Some of the top companies visit here.

Infrastructure: Our EEE department has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to a large central library with technical resources. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, and the mess food is average but hygienic. The campus also provides basic medical support, and there are good facilities for sports like volleyball, football, and indoor games.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and experienced, and explain subjects clearly with real-world examples. The curriculum is mostly relevant and provides a good foundation for core and technical jobs. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and the pass percentage is generally above 85%.

Other: I'm from the EEE department, 2023-2026 batch. I chose this course because I'm interested in electrical systems and it offers strong job opportunities in core and government sectors.

It is a good college, and I am proud to be a student of it.

Placements: Mostly 80% of the students got placed from college. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Top companies like L&T, Wipro and TCS visited our campus for recruitment. The supervisor was the role offered. Companies like Ashok Leyland & and other small companies also visit our college. I got placed in one of the companies, but it was not a core company.

Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi is provided to students. There is a good library on campus. I don't know about the hostel because I was a day scholar. But my friends said that the food served was average. It is an old college, and I think it was established in the '60s. There are other colleges also on our campus, one is Sona College, and the other is Thiagarajar Polytechnic College.

Faculty: Teaching quality in our college was average. I was a very average student, and I didn't understand the teaching technique. But lab sessions were excellent we learned practically. College working hours were more. I'm proud to be a student of this college. I am working in Top MNC currently.

Other: I opted for the course because EEE was my favourite department, and I like it.

The college provides the best placements.

Placements: Placements are very good. In my course, above 85% of students placed. The salary package offered is 2 LPA to 5 LPA. Ashok Leyland, Tata Projects, and Titan visit our college to recruit students. Executive officer, quality officer, and assistant manager-like roles are given.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. Classroom facilities and library facilities are very good. The lab and Wi-Fi connection are also good. Medicine and sports are very effective and good. Canteen facilities are okay level only. Hostel facilities are also okay level.

Faculty: Weekly tests are conducted on last week's taken subjects, and before the exam, coaching exams are also conducted. That helps to score more in semester exams. Semester is also not at a high level, though, because of the coaching and weekly exams. The pass percentage is 75-99.9%.

Other: I chose electrical and electronic engineering at Thiagarajar Polytechnic College. Knowing about all the practical courses is the best thing in my course.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: Around 850 students were placed. The highest salary package was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package was 1 LPA. Infotech and TCS are the recruiting companies. Around 78% of students got placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. Hostel is provided for both men and women with around 350 rooms. Students have all the facilities in the hostel rooms with attached bathrooms. Food served in the hostel is workful and students feel grateful. All the classrooms have projectors, blackboards, and robots for practical classes.

Faculty: Teaching is very intellectual and very informative. Technical and practical skills are taught to enhance students for job-ready.

Other: I chose EEE as it has more number of classes. There are four classes in the college and each class has 60 students. There are big electrical and electronic laboratories with a generator in the electrical lab and a small number of components in the electronic lab.
