A mixed bag, great campus, average faculty, and selective placements.
Placements: Placements at UID were honestly pretty average. A few top students got good offers because of connections and mostly because they were faculty favorites. For the rest of us, it felt like we were on our own. The college did bring in some companies, but opportunities were limited and not consistent for everyone. If you are not in the good books you might have to find a job on your own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of UID was honestly one of the best parts of college. The campus was well-designed and modern, with great studio labs and equipment for all the design departments. As for the hostel, it was super comfortable, clean, and had good rooms. The only downside of the hostel was the mess food and mess food was pretty bad.
Faculty: The faculty and curriculum were pretty average, at least in my department. It honestly felt like they were figuring things out with our batch and the seniors. By the time our juniors came in, extra modules were added and everything was structured way better. For us, the order of modules felt pretty random and disorganized. Some of the faculty were amazing, supportive, and passionate but others just felt like they were there to do the bare minimum. It was a mixed experience overall.

Absolutely mediocre college with exorbitant fees.
Placements: The college claims to have given the maximum package to the batch of 2023 for product design, I believe 30LPA. Other than that, from what I’ve heard from seniors, placements are actually terrible, even though they have a 100% placement policy. The teaching staff and academic courses are not bad. They equip you well, but in the end, it boils down to you and how much effort you’re willing to put in.
Infrastructure: The campus and facilities are well-equipped and well-maintained, and there are no complaints about that. All the classes have AC, and the library is also well. In hostels, televisions and fridges are installed in every room, along with a modular kitchen on every hostel floor.
Faculty: As mentioned before, the course structure is well, but the timeline is always messed up, usually leaving you in a rush and hurry. Other than that, if you are able to manage your time well, some great projects can be produced. Faculty is helpful sometimes, depending on their mood. However, they are quite moody, especially the workshop helpers, so building rapport is crucial.

Satisfied with faculty. Gujarat people are not welcoming and warm. The infrastructure is great.
Placements: Many companies like Amazon, Nike, etc., come for placements. Roles offered are video editor, filmmaker, marketing executive, etc. 70-80% will get placed by the end of the 4th year as heard from seniors. The average package ranges from 8-12 LPA. Many students get placed in 3rd year also.
Infrastructure: All labs, classrooms, and infrastructure are very good. Food in the mess is decent although the hostel facility is not that good. The people are not that nice. Rules are very strict. Sports and games have many opportunities that you can pick. Wi-Fi we would like some more data than 50 GB/month.
Faculty: The faculty is amazing and helpful. Most of them are NIT and NIFT graduates. The course is relevant although they take extra money for almost every module. Exams are not that difficult. We have a jury system where you are judged one on one based on the whole work of the year.
Other: I wanted to get into marketing while learning graphic design, so I chose this course. Events are lesser, but when they happen, they are grand and creative. I wish the non-veg drama on campus does not happen and they become lenient about the timing at night.

Not a great crowd here. However, pretty good faculties and facilities for industrial design.
Placements: This institution do not have a placement cell . Quite frankly speaking , in industrial design there are very few placements . Not only that, the majority of them figure out everything by themselves and do not depend on the colleges placement cell . LinkedIn is honestly the way to go.
Infrastructure: Pretty good hostel services along with good facilities . Every lab is available for various materials as well as digital labs . The food is above average and it is pretty decent for a hostel . Medical facilities are not the best but not too bad either. Sports isn't that active here.
Faculty: Well-experienced faculties are present here and the curriculum is structured well. The teachers are knowledgeable with good industry experience . However, the teacher keeps changing semester by semester, and few faculties end up leaving so there are very few permanent faculties.

Review about Unitedworld Institute of Design.
Placements: Placements are offered to some of the top students only. I don't have a lot of knowledge about the placement system but I know this. As most of the students here are from Maharashtra, they mostly look for internships in Pune and Mumbai. The average package offered is INR 15,000.
Infrastructure: Twin-sharing hostels are good. Fees are high but the environment is good and there is a lot of storage compared to triple sharing. Interaction and making friends depend on you. In the hostel, there are no washing machines or canteens, which is disappointing.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and understanding. If you grasp concepts and take them with you, it is ideal. It is a good college overall. I feel like the curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready if they are consistent and keep working on themselves.

Review of Unitedworld Institute of Design, Karnavati University.
Placements: I don't know much about placements. Our seniors told us placements were average. Top recruiting companies are Tanishq, Amazon, Gini & Jony, etc. Approximately 70% of students get placed, and others seek other opportunities. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA to 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: We do not get unlimited Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned and soundproof, but the furniture is old and damaged. Workshops are good. They have enough tools. Supervision is done while working on machines. I am not satisfied with the library. It does not have books other than course-related books. Books for UI/UX design are not available there. The food served in the mess is unhygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, friendly, and helpful. They are unpredictable when it comes to giving grades to students. You get experienced faculty members from the second year onwards. The curriculum is relevant and updated with new ideas. Every year, they change their methods of teaching. Semester exams are tough or easy depending on the external examiner who takes the jury.
