Best design school for post graduate studies.
Placements: Placements are good here but maybe depend on how you approach it. Apart from the retrace, normally the graduates pitch their projects to the companies for a better placement offer. The market is quite vast for SDM, one can go in any interest line and get into a good profile. People do either internship during summer or work vastly on self projects with constant guidance from faculty members.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is mostly basic and good. We don't require a lot of machines or devices to carry out, so simple classrooms with good furnitures is what SDM studio looks like. Hostel accommodation is available, you could opt to stay outside in a flat. Food in mess is very good. Good enough sport facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very good with a commendable industry experience. We have various guest faculty members too, to add on to our course. Teaching methods are quite innovative and encourages a lot of interaction. Course curriculum is vast and wide spread, with good inputs from various industry visits. Student-faculty ratio is about 5:1.
Other: Campus is one of the best, secluded, well maintained, open and quite. Away from the crowd, yet all amenities are available very near. Hostel and food is very nice. Hostel is in sharing basis, beds of 2 or 3.
