Professors are very good. There are regular classes. The placement is not good.
Placements: Some students are passed. The lowest package of last year was 3.6 LPA. Reliance, TVS, L&T, Mahindra, and some companies are visiting our campus. Actually, I have no information about what percentage of students got internships from our course and in which companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available there, but we will face network issues. Classrooms, lab, and library are okay. College can not provide hostels. Mess and canteen are available. No medical facilities provide us. Some tournaments are organized by the college like volleyball and badminton.
Faculty: Classes are regularly going on, especially for the ECE branch. Professors are good. They provide many knowledge that always helps all students with their studies and careers. 50% of students pass semester exams. I have no idea if it makes the students industry-ready or not.

Dissatisfied because there are no placements or facilities for practical experience.
Placements: No direct companies come here for placements. Students participate in off-campus drives. Only around 10% of students got placed. Internships are done by students. The college never offers any internships for students. A high number of students got placed.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on the campus. There are only 2 labs for electronics students, and there are no separate labs like optical fiber lab, microwave lab, communication lab etc. Only a few girls' hostels are available combined for all departments like law, PG etc.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful, but the teaching quality is very. Practical knowledge is almost zero, and the college doesn't prepare students for the industry. There are 6 papers in each semester which is high, and in the last 2 semesters, 7th-8th, students have to clear 5 papers which is not good.
Other: There are no extracurricular activities like sports day and industrial visits.

It has a good environment for studying because teachers are friendly, and students are helpful.
Placements: In our college, almost half of the students got posted in the IT industry. Many of them got off-campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. TCS was the top recruiting company. Almost 3-4th of students have done their internship or training in the online platform due to covid as a worker.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs and a library are in average condition. Our college doesn't have any hostel facilities, but some there are canteens where food quality is average. Medical facilities are good, but sports and games are not more adorable in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but teaching quality is not that improved. Some teachers are well-profiled, but some are below the criteria of teaching. Mostly, teachers are helpful. They help students to get placed in some companies, and they work hard. In our college, semester exams are tough, and the passing CGPA is 6 out of 10. Faculty members of our college are good. They complete their syllabus on time, but they don't talk about new things, which should be discussed in engineering colleges.
Other: I was selected into this college by the JCECE exam. This college has a good environment for studying. They won't disturb you. Students are friendly, and teaching faculty members are also responsible. I wish to improve its infrastructure.

I suggest you select the best college to secure your career.
Placements: The foremost in engineering college thing is a placement that is not offered by the college. Our college does not offer any on-campus placements, but it trains students such that they can easily sit in any of the off-campus placements and easily crack it. Many students get placed in companies like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Hexaware, etc. Students usually find an internship on their own. Top roles are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides quite enough facilities like water coolers with refrigerator, Wi-Fi, Cad lab, computer labs with a lot of systems, Chemistry lab, electronics lab and Physics lab. It also has a workshop, library with sufficient books, smart classrooms, etc.
Faculty: The teaching is not sufficient to reach your goal, and you will have to study on your own more. I suggest you if your financial condition is not up to the mark then for sure go for this college as its fee structure is less comparing the others. If you are holding good financial condition, then it is better to go to a private college by paying more but grab the premium institute where placements will reach your goal and easily give you a kick start.
Other: For extracurricular activities, it is one of the most pleasant colleges as it provides an advanced opportunity for it. It also has an NSS camp.

I am satisfied with the teachers and infrastructure, but our college is the worst for placements.
Placements: A student got placed with a salary package of more than Rs. 20,000 per month. Internships are always available for top students, but there is nothing for average or low students. Every student has to think about them by utilising their own knowledge and hard work. Students here have to suffer more for achieving their goals. They have to prepare for themselves without much help from college.
Infrastructure: Some of the common facilities are library in good condition, Wi-Fi with a limited range of few MS building in good condition. For sports, students are only interested in cricket. Other than this, there is no participation and also no guidance. There is no facility for the hostel. Only a few students get this opportunity.
Faculty: Faculty members are much better because of TEQIP, and they are also well-qualified. Faculty members try to support every student in experiments and in practicals. They try their best. Every activity, like exams, is taken in the right manner with full of restrictions, which is much better for students. This course makes students ready for industry.
Other: I like our branch because, in this, we read about the latest technologies used nowadays. It makes people more interested to learn. I also want to know about things we used because everything is mostly electronic.

Review of University College of Engineering and Technology, Hazaribag.
Placements: University College of Engineering and Technology, Vinoba, is a good college for local students. 62% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 5-8 LPA, and the lowest package is 2-3 LPA. The recruiting companies are not bad.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent facilities like library, classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi etc. The college infrastructure is not bad, but that is not really like an engineering college. The college canteen is good. Medical facilities are available on campus. Sports and games are conducted.
Faculty: 6-8 CGPA is enough. Exams are easy. C language, C+, Java, Python, etc., are taught to us. The teachers are very helpful for all students. They guide us for our future. They are well-qualified. Their teaching quality is not bad.
Other: The environment is good. Functions are held in a proper way. Our college invites state-level singers. Cricket, football, basketball, badminton, chess, quiz, arts and culture, technical activities, and sports are held here.

The college doesn't provide exposure and technical support.
Placements: Less than 40% of students got placed from the batch 2017-2021. The packages offered by companies are low, 2.5-3 LPA. That's why most of the students didn't even register for placements. The highest package offered is 3.2 LPA, the lowest package is 1.8 LPA, and the average package is 2.2 LPA. It was lockdown during that time, so most of the IT companies were recruiting online. The top company was Pelican Pvt. Limited, located in Rajasthan. We were participating in off-campus placements of Wipro, Infosys and TCS as they provide better exposure than the rest. None of my batch mates interned in any company. Most of them were focusing on competitions, and the rest were aiming to intern in IIM and IITs. Being an ECE graduate, we were offered jobs of sales manager, technician etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are improving every year, and still, it is not up to the mark. While entering college, it seems we are in school. I am a graduate from Kendriya Vidyalaya, and my school was almost 3 times bigger than this. The funds are raised every year for the infrastructure. Few more facilities are Wi-Fi, but after logging in, we can only use 32 Mb. Lifts are available, but it is still under construction. When we were in 1st year in 2017, we were told that within one year, our college will have a 7-storey building, but as the time passed, I got to know that the same was told to students of the 2015 batch. There are girls hostels only and no boys hostel inside campus. But there are ample lodge and PG facilities outside the campus with a very close distance to VBU main GATE. They are affordable and provide average facilities. Mess is offered. We have one common canteen named Aahar, which is officially the main canteen of VBU. Our college doesn't have its own canteen, and we go to Aahar. There's a sick room, but it has only bandages and paracetamol to cure and heal. Our college doesn't have its own playground, and it depends on the university ground. But students who participate in basketball, football, volleyball, cricket and badminton do visit other colleges for the championship. We played basketball in Vajra of BIT Mesra, representing our college.
Faculty: The permanent teachers lack knowledge. Even if we ask them a few basic electronics questions, they will divert the question. The TEQIP faculty members are mainly responsible for college improvement, and they are the ones who are actually handling the college academics wisely and positively. The course curriculum is like other engineering colleges, and it has more theory than practical. It needs an update, not just our college but also all the colleges in India.

It is an average college with great opportunities for future.
Placements: Our college was started in 2009 in the Vinoba Bhave University campus. Placements here are not good like other prestigious colleges. However, companies like Tech Mahindra, Pariksha and other IT companies visit here to recruit students. Salary packages offered by this college are not good. The average salary package offered is around 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Around 10%-20% of the students got placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it lacks professors. Wi-Fi facility is available, but labs are not good like in other good colleges because it is a new college. There are no hostels for boys. There is no mess, and only one canteen is available on the university campus. The playground is available. Medical facilities are available on the university campus as well as on our campus.
Faculty: All the teachers here are good but not best. They all are associate professors and lecturers, and their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not relevant like it doesn't provide skill development. As it is a new college, there is a lack of professors, and only some companies visit here to recruit. So, students are not industry-ready.
