Osmania University cutoff 2023 for the BTech course is based on TS EAMCET scores. For Round 1 in 2023, the closing ranks for all B.Tech specialisations ranged from 590 to 54251. The most competitive specialisation has been B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with a closing rank of 590, followed by B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering with 1476 rank. To begin with, one must first qualify the exam and then check for the cutoffs. The cutoff is different for various students; cutoff for  a general category student was 25%, talking in scores, it will be 50 marks out of 200, where as for a SC/ST student it was 10%, that is, the student must score atleast 20 marks out of 200 and for an OBC student, the required score was 25 out of 200 which is 12.5% of the total, in order to be eligible to take admission into the institution .

These programmes include the MA, M.Com, M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc, MSW, M.Ed, MCJ, LLM, M.Li.Sc, M.P.Ed. Graduation is the primary requirement for admission to Osmania University's postgraduate programme. For entry into MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, or M.Li.Sc programmes, applicants must have completed their undergraduate degrees in the respective discipline with a minimum cumulative GPA of 40%. Admission to the MA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, MCJ, MSW, M.Li.Sc., and LL.M. programmes is contingent on passing the university's OUCET exam.

After checking for the particular course one has to apply for counseling and after counseling one can pay the fees. For, clearing the exam the cutoff was 25 percent and to become eligible score the candidate must score a minimum of 50 marks for the general category. The SC/ST candidates are eligible at 20 marks out of 200 and they can apply for counseling after that and they can also secure their seats by paying the fees. The minimum score for OBC Category was 25.

Yes, Osmania University conducts a Common Postgraduate Entrance Test CPGET for admission to PG, PG Diploma and five-year integrated courses. Apart from CPGET scores, the University also accepts several national-level entrance exam scores such as GATE TSICET CMAT Andhra Pradesh ECET and TS EAMCET among others for undergraduate courses such as B.Tech and other PG, PG Diploma and Certificate courses. For Ph.D. admission, Osmania University conducts Ph.D. entrance test.

Yes, you can also join Osmania University without GATE because there are many more exams from which we can join Osmania University like TSICET, CMAT, APECET, TS EAMCET etc. These are the national-level exams held in India through which we can join Osmania University by getting certain ranks which differs for different exams. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad has released the TS EAMCET 2025 exam date at the official website.
