College provides well qualified professors.
Placements: Placements were good in our college when compared to other universities or colleges in Hyderabad. For Computer Science engineering and its allied branches, placements were good when compared to the non-CSE branches. For EC and EE, the placements are low.
Infrastructure: CBIT provides hostel only for boys. In the hostel, there are two blocks: one for juniors and one for seniors. The hostel fee for two semesters for the 2025-26 is 98,000. They provide good food compared to other PGs. They provide Wi-Fi and laundry. For juniors, it will be 8 sharing, and for seniors, it will be 4 sharing.
Faculty: Teachers in the college is good. They are friendly. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams were moderate according to the question papers. However, the exams were difficult when writing the core papers compared to 1st-year subjects.
Other: The college will celebrates national level fest called Shruthi.

College infrastructure could have been better, events are meh, faculty & placements are quite okay.
Placements: Can't say anything yet, as the branch of VLSI started just last year, but the faculty is working hard to get MOUs and trying to get more placement opportunities for us. Placements are quite good compared to other colleges. Companies like Silicon Labs and Micron come to offer core-related placements. In ECE, software companies come for recruitment too, like EA, which offered 45 LPA to two students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is sub-par, Wi-Fi isn't available everywhere, lab equipment is poor, faculty and classrooms are okayish, the library is decent, the college canteen is the worst, and food is pretty bad. There are plenty of sports to play, though. No swimming pool. The hostel is average and not value for money.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good, had no issues with the faculty so far. Curriculum for VLSI is similar to ECE but much better in terms of industry relevance. College exams are moderate, not super hard, but not very easy either. Almost everyone can pass these exams.
Other: I wish the college infrastructure were better, canteen should be renovated as soon as possible. Events are not very extraordinary. College is really stingy when it comes to providing funds for events. Clubs are quite good, I guess.

Mostly satisfied with placements, good faculty, but bad infrastructure and old curriculum.
Placements: Mostly 60-70% students are placed. Students have to focus by their own on getting their internship during their 3rd and 4th year. These internships are converted into placements. Most faculty suggest that students work on skills. But we can't expect a big package from what college thought you, you have to put in extra efforts.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity is poor, and your mobile network will also not work properly. In classrooms, the benches are old, and the class doesn't feel energetic. But new classrooms and labs are good. Coming to the hostel and college infrastructure, they are not excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for academics and extra activities. Most of our teachers are Ph.D. holders, so they have more knowledge of their subjects. They encourage all students. Most of the teachers are friends with students. Sem exams are not that tough, they can be done easily by practicing PYQs, and also the faculty will provide you with important questions, which is enough.
Other: I got selected in the IT branch, and the placements in this branch are far better than any other branch in my college, except CSE. There are not that many events in our college. Best thing is we have holidays on Saturday.

It is a great college. I would recommend people to join here.
Placements: The placements in our college are excellent. Well-known companies like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 50+ LPA, and the lowest is around 7+ LPA. Apart from that, placements mainly depend on your skills and performance.
Infrastructure: The campus and hostel facilities are areas where the college can improve. Classrooms need better maintenance, including tables, chairs, fans, and projectors. The college canteen is average compared to other universities. Regarding hostels, I would recommend staying in PGs rather than in the college hostel..
Faculty: The faculty members and professors are kind and supportive, though the same cannot always be said for lab assistants. Exams are conducted properly, and the question papers are usually manageable. The professors also support students with financial and emotional concerns, as they understand that everyone faces challenges.

It’s a decent college with good placements.
Placements: Placements were good at CVR College of Engineering. Companies like Oracle, Capgemini, and other service-based and product-based companies came to the college to hire. Generally, they hired for roles like data analyst, software developer, web developer, etc. This year, the highest package at our college is 72 LPA.
Infrastructure: In this college, we had facilities like AC labs, Wi-Fi-enabled campus, cricket ground, library, health center, sports complex, etc. The quality of these facilities was good, and the food in the hostel mess and canteen was also good, tasty, and hygienic. Every year, the college conducts EPL, which stands for Engineering Premier League.
Faculty: In this college, teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They regularly interacted with students and helped them work on their weaknesses. The curriculum in CS was industry-relevant and helped you get ready for a job. The pass percentage of this college was more than 90 percent.

It is a good college but overhyped.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of students from computer science and allied branches got placed. The average package is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Service Now, Salesforce, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan. 4-5 students from every class get an internship in the third year.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is average because it is old. But the equipment in the laboratories is good enough. I would say our college library is one of the best libraries. Coming to hostels, washrooms are combined floor to floor. The hostel and mess food are quite good in taste.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in delivering the subject and knowledge to the students. Even our curriculum has some industry-required skills. Toughness of exams is moderate, and very few times it feel hard. Almost every student will pass the examinations.
