No, After completing LLB you become a lawyer, however, you are still not an advocate and hence cannot practice law. To become an advocate and to practice law as a profession, you mandatorily need to clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE). After qualifying AIBE, one can practice law as a full fledged profession.

No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To become a lawyer, one must first complete three-year or five-year LLB from a recognised university and possess degree certificate. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India.

Do you wish admission in UILS ?
Placements: Most of the students that come here have parents or close relatives working in the same profession, but students without having their parents’ profession as a lawyer face some issues in training, and there are no law firms hiring in the college. In holidays, everyone has to do an internship in various government institutions like Finance and ADA office.
Infrastructure: Building is heritage, but roomterrible.rible.
Rooms don’t have any type of Wi-Fi service, even connection of SIM network will be lost in some of the rooms. Rooms are equipped with Digital LED for teachers to teach.
There are no hostels for UILS students, and rooms are costly.
Faculty: Faculty is really awesome as most of the teachers are PhD holders. They teach us very well. Even new laws that are introduced after each amendment will be in the teachers’ minds and notes. Most of the students do higher studies after the course or join other advocates’ chambers for experience. Here, exams are after each semester, and exams are mostly from the syllabus told by teachers.
Other: Admission in college is merit-based, and most of the candidates are 12th pass. Each year, there is a fest organised by the college, but due to financial struggles, students may need to contribute to the organization of the fest. Scholarships are also provided through NSP, and our college fees are much cheaper than any other private law college.

Review of University Institute Of Legal Studies.
Placements: There is not any type of campus placement at the college, which simply means that recruiting companies are zero. Our college HPUILS only offers a single course, which is B.A. LL.B. honors, which only offers an advocate degree so that person can go with his own business empire. Most of the students have their parents professions in law so that they are ready to work with their own business.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide any type of hostel, so students need to go on their own to find a place to stay, which is very costly in Shimla. Facilities are not very likely, as we don't even have a computer lab and the campus size of the college is really small.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are Ph.D. holders and they do their best to train their students in the profession of law. They are really helpful, as we can call them anytime. The faculty is no doubt really knowledgeable and conducts tests for better preparation for exams.
Other: As it's a government institute, fees are really low as compared with other private institutes, and our college doesn't organize many fests as they don't have enough funds. Scholarships can be availed of by poor students through the NSP.

Good infrastructure and good education. All the facilities are available.
Placements:
Internships are available from the 1st year onwards. In this course, you will only get practical legal knowledge and no money will be involved. It is worth it. Many passouts from this course have been placed as judges in high courts, magistrates in district courts, etc. It will depend on your skills and knowledge.
Infrastructure:
Infra of the college is the best for the learning students. Wi-Fi is provided in the college and computer labs are available for research work. Classrooms are good with curtains. Smart digital screens are there in each class. There is no hostel present in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are really qualified. Most of the teachers are with doctorate degrees and they have atleast 20 years of experience in teaching ppts. Book notes are also provided and they will teach you to prepare for the exams. Exams are not difficult, although you have to know about how to attempt in them. The pass percentage is 45.
Other: Scholarships are there for needy students. Events are organised by the students like freshers, farewell, legal and cultural fest.

Uils is really good platform for the law students .
Placements: The College is so great, their faculty is really amazing the teachers are so concerned with the future of their students. Many of the past students get placements in High Courts And District Courts as well many of them qualified their ambitioned exans like judiciary, UPSC etc.
Infrastructure: They also had a library which consists no. Of legal books and guides. The librarians were also so good they do help every student for any matter they are so cooperative. The AIRs, ILRs, are also available there where we can find any case law related to our study .
Faculty: Faculty is really so amazing. Yaa semester exams are held twice in a year but it was not an easy task sometimes exam maybe easy or sometimes it was really tough. But the way of teaching is so good teachers are so cooperative and loving. They clearify doubts to all the students .
Other: Events and fests are to be help in HPU only.

Good college but need to improve infrastructure.
Placements: Capacity per session can change, but it's 120 students per call. Now, very few placements are provided. Overall, staff is quite nice. Very few companies come in the college. Internship is conducted after every year. Don't know about the packages received yet.
Infrastructure: No hostels are provided for UILS students. Canteen is available in the college campus. No proper facility of auditorium and moot court rooms, and classrooms also have improper ventilation system. Annual sports meet is organised. No Wi-Fi facility. Library is there.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Don't know about the pass percentage, but semester exams are not so difficult. Teachers are qualified. This course makes students ready for advocacy and to appear for other government exams related to law field, like law officer and others.
Other: Infrastructure should be improved.

I can say that our collage is good on every aspect but not best
Placements: There are no such collage placement, but our collage faculty members provide every help to get placements after the course. But students need to suffer to get proper placements. Due to lack of practical knowledge many law firms reject to give jobs to the students
Infrastructure: Our collage is a heritage building it is nearly 120 years old. It is good and peaceful for students to study . The environment is very nice and decent but students face many problems such as - problems of monkey attack, lack of smart classes and computer labs
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they all gave support to every student in every manner. It is very relevant in present time but lacks from practical knowledge . As compare to nlu they provide practical knowledge while our collage focus on theoretical knowledge
Other: I choose this course due to my intrest in the subject of law or in litigation. Our collage can improve our course by providing better infrastructure.
