Vaagdevi Degree and PG College is a private college established in 1993, sponsored by the Viswambhara Educational Society and in affiliation with Kakatiya University. The College offers courses at the UG and PG level in full-time mode on the basis  of merit and accepted entrance exams. It is accredited by NAAC with a grade of A and is approved by AICTE.

Candidates seeking admission to various programme can enrol for admission with Class 12 marks. The college offers various courses such as BCA, BSc, MBA, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 as the basic eligibility criteria for UG courses and graduation for PG courses.

The College offers courses at the UG and PG level in full-time mode for the durations varying from 2 years to 3 years. Admission to the respective courses require Class 12 and graduation qualification. In addition to this, candidates must secure valid scores in the accepted entrance exams. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 40% in Class 12 for UG level admissions. Whereas, for PG level admissions, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50%.
