Velammal Institute of Technology offers several scholarships to SC/ST students, including the Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship, Gandhi Memorial Scholarship, and Adhoc Merit Grant. These aim at benefiting weaker financial students while encouraging academic progress. Eligibility can be based on a family income level of below INR 50,000 or on minimum academic percentage.

Placements: 50% of students got placed in our department. The highest package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, Hexaware, etc. Data Analyst and Web Developer are the top roles offered. Codsoft are the companies that took students for internships.
Placements: Our batch 2017-2021 students were placed in top MNC companies, and the placement percentage was 98.4%. The remaining students were also provided with internship programs to enhance their skills for their future placement interviews. The salary package offered to our batch varies from 3.5 LPA to 12 LPA.
Placements: In my batch, around 70 percent of students were placed. The highest package offered was INR 12 LPA, the lowest was INR 3 LPA and the average was INR 6 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro recruited us. About 60 percent of students got internships, mainly at companies like Accenture and Cognizant. Common roles offered include software developer and data analyst.
Placements: Almost 80% of 9th grade students got placed on our campus; the maximum package will be around 10 LPA, according to the person. The core companies rarely visit our college. From the second year onwards, students are informed to participate in the internships with or without a stipend.
Placements: In maximum 98% of students have placed in 2015-2019. The highest package is 10 LPA, average will be 4-5 LPA, the lowest will be 3LPA. Top companies are TCS, Accenture, Zoho, CTS, Sify Technologies, wipro Roles offered are Developed, Software testing, Internship.
Placements: 95% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package is INR 45 lakhs, and the lowest package is INR 2 lakhs. Yes, a maximum of 20 top recruiting companies will come for interviews. 80% of the students got internships from Zoho, Wipro, TVS, etc. NASA also offered roles in my course.
