Our college is ranked 9th among the colleges offering the hotel management course all over India.
Placements: Placements are offered in different hotels in India and even in some foreign countries. You just need to complete your course with good marks, and the college will arrange a job for you in some good chain hotels like JW Marriott, Taj, etc. Students can also get placed abroad.
Infrastructure: Everything that a student needs is available here except for the hostel facility. They don't have their own permanent hostel, so they rented one. After the 1st semester, if you want to quit the college hostel, you can live on your own. Our classrooms are air-conditioned, and we also have a canteen to have breakfast and lunch.
Faculty: Our faculty are well-knowledgeable, and they are having a good experience. Their experience helps the students to know their goal and find a good placement after the completion of their course. A hotel visit will be conducted regularly to introduce students to the hotel line. Even the training is arranged in well-reputed hotel chains all over India and the world.
Other: All the festivals like freshers' party, farewell party, Christmas, Diwali, and Eid are organised here.

Hotel and Catering Management Institute, Vidya Jyoti Educational Society is a good college.
Placements: The placements of the college are good. Approximately 95% students get a job. The faculty members of the college are well-qualified. The teaching criteria of college are good, and all the dates are preplanned to teach each topic and subject. They do not compromise with the students future.
Infrastructure: The college campus is facilitated with Wi-Fi. There are all the labs for the students to improve the practical knowledge, which is excellent. All the classrooms are fully-airconditioned and under the watch of CCTV Camera. The library of college has a lot of books for each subject with different-different writers.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified, and each has a good experience in the field. The teachers are always ready to help students for their study. All the teachers have a good knowledge of their subject. Teachers also take extra classes once in a week.
Other: Many events are done on occasion. The scholarship is also given for some reserved people.

VJES - emphasis on character building.
Placements: VJES arranges the campus placement with leading companies through the placement drives. I am in the fourth semester now, and I am sure that same opportunity will be having like our seniors. The leading companies in hospitality, travelling, airlines & multinationals so that the students get the best offer, our seniors are experiencing well-paid jobs at a designation and place of their choice. Due to the college effort, the students don't experience the job search grill after they pass out. The students are working as chef/cook, food server, bartender, housekeeper, cabin crew, ground staff at airport, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi campus, amphitheatre style classrooms equipped with the modern tools, whiteboards and projectors. The medical facilities are available on campus in need of hour. We have the sports facilities available at the campus, indoor and outdoor both categories are available. Separate hostel facilities for the boys and girls are available. We have a big library with good collection of the books, journals, video cassettes, CD-ROMS, international books and journals are also available. We have communication labs, IT labs, animation and multimedia studio, retail lab, financial lab, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are professionals from the hotel industry they have national as well as the international exposure. They are an invaluable link to knowledge and are guiding their students in the best possible way. They are teaching us through audio-visual aids. The projectors for the presentations and various other modern tools. We have been on regular industrial visits to have practical exposure. We are participating in live projects seminars, study trips, etc. The training managers from the hotel industry are actively involved us in teaching the new things related to the industry.
Other: We have the latest computerised language lab to enhance the communication of the students. VJES is providing education, training, skills, placement and research. We work and participated in the community development by various scholarships, charity and social work. The college is enhancing our knowledge, skills and attitude with the latest techniques.

College with world-class facilities
Placements: I am in the fourth semester of my degree, I have seen placement drives by college and I am really happy to see that students are getting placed in good companies. The college organises a job fair also and students are getting benefit out of that. Radisson Hotel, Welcome Group, Club Mahindra and many other hotels are selecting students. Students are working in the kitchen as chefs or bakers, housekeepers, event managers, etc. The 6th-month internship is compulsory for every student to understand the facts and aspects of the industry. Students are working with a handsome salary.
Infrastructure: The college is providing us with good infrastructure including classrooms and medical facilities in the time of an emergency. We enjoyed a variety of sports activities like volleyball, cricket, basketball, etc. Students are working in good quality labs related to their courses like BAMT, BHMCT, IT, medical, etc. Hotel management students are taking practical knowledge through four kitchen labs. The college has a big and hygienic canteen with good quality food. The college has a hostel facility also with proper rules and regulations.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. All of them are working as mentors and facilitators to all students. We have been taught through live projects, seminars, industry presentations, study trips, etc. The student and faculty ratio is 30-35:1. We have regularly been to industrial visits to gain practical knowledge.
Other: VJES is helping its students to prosper and move out of your cocoon by opening up your work to a new land of opportunities. Our teachers create a favourable environment for learning. We all are part of fun and activities happens at VJES including food festival, theme-based events, etc. Students are separately groomed and trained for conducting the internships.

VJES - The college that inspires the future.
Placements: Our seniors got the good placement through the college. Almost, 90% of the students got the placements as the college has good tie-ups with the hotels and the other organisations for the college placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000. The hotels visited the college for the placements were Banyan tree, The palm Atlantis-Dubai, ITC hotels, Holiday inn groups etc. The students got the placements in the hospitality, travelling, airlines, and MNCs. The students are working as the baker, chef, housekeeper, kitchen assistant, etc. The maximum students got the internship for 3 to 6 months.
Infrastructure: At the college campus, we have the Wi-Fi facility, the comfortable rooms with the comfortable seating arrangements. We have the medical room to meet any medical emergency with the facility of the MBBS doctor. For hotel management students, there are four kitchens fully equipped. Even for the other students, there are the medical labs, animation labs, media, labs, computer labs, the communication labs, etc. The college has the good canteen with the good facility of food and seating arrangement.
Faculty: We have good, friendly, accessible, and knowledgeable faculty at VJES. The faculty members are from various countries and cultures. We have been taught through the case studies, the projects, the lectures, and the practical teachings. The students to faculty ratio are 40:1. The college always ensures that the industrial visits and the field visit after every 15 days so that the students can understand the facts and aspects of the industry. The course curriculum includes the live projects, seminars, industry presentation, study trips, etc. to broaden the horizon of the students.
Other: VJES helps the students to be confident through grooming, mock interviews, seminars, guest lectures, etc. The unique aspect at VJES is the personalized attention from the trainer to create a favourable environment for learning. The college authorities ensure not more than 30-40 students in one class. We have many activities at VJES including the food festival, the theme based events and management, business, and leadership activities.

A college that develops skills.
Placements: We have remarkable placements, and almost all students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000. Five-star and three-star hotels visited our campus for placements like Taj, Lemon Tree, The Grandeur, The Lalit, etc. The roles offered were the baker, cook/chef, food server, housekeeping, event manager, etc. From college, more than 85% students got the internship, and the stipend offered was above Rs. 2,000.
Infrastructure: We have enjoyed good classrooms with AC facility, medical room in the needed hour, we spend a good time in sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball. Indoor games like chess, carrom board are also liked by many students in our batch. For hotel management, we have three well-equipped labs with ingredients. During last year of our study, we also got the Wi-Fi facility also.
Faculty: I have really come across the teachers who prove to be the path guides and were always available for any kind of help. They all were qualified and knowledgeable. The faculty-student ratio was 1:40. Our teachers use to take us to different hotels for the practical teaching and exposure of the industry. We have been through the best course curriculum, and we were very well engaged through which, the best in us came out.
Other: I gained confidence in myself while studying at Vidya Jyoti, and I started looking towards things with different perspective, my work skills and knowledge got improved now. I can resolve problems more quickly and professionally. I would to thank my faculty and staff of Vidya Jyoti for their great support and professional approach.
