Vidyalankar is a great college.
Placements: 70% to 85% were placed in my college. The highest package was 1,200,000, and the lowest package was 600,000, which is offered in my course. I don't have an idea if regular companies offer my course. 50% of students got internships from this course as a manager and in many sectors like IT offices.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Vidyalankar Polytechnic is the best. The whole campus has Wi-Fi, the labs are the best, classrooms have smart boards, and the library is great. There is no hostel in my college, but the canteen, medical service, and sports facilities are also very good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful with the exams, and the teaching quality is also great. They are very helpful in my course. There is an initial visit for some research on industries. The semester is divided into colleges, and the pass percentage of my college is 90%.
Other: I chose Vidyalankar College because it gives me the best facilities, campus life, and teaching experience. The campus crowd is the best, and the connectivity is also good. The surroundings are great, and they offer great scholarships. Students also participate in extracurricular activities like social gatherings and social service.

I absolutely love the environment, and the faculty is also good.
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed after completing their Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication at our college. I completed my Diploma in 2019 but chose to pursue a B.Tech in Electronics, which is why I rejected the offer letter from Siemens. The remaining 20 students who were selected had an overall percentage of 70% or above.
Infrastructure: Labs were well-equipped with all the necessary instruments and equipment for our experiments. There were separate labs for each subject. Lab assistants were also helpful. Canteen food was above average. I didn't see any medical faculty, as I didn't require their services during my 3 years. Sports days were organized by the faculty between February and March.
Faculty: Internal exams were held before the external exams, so that we could get time to practice for both the viva and written exams. Faculty was supportive and helpful. One concern was that, they used to prepare the notes, but we had to purchase them separately from the college stationery shop. Semester examinations were pretty easy, as the faculty had already prepared us well. The issue with attendance was that students with less than 60% attendance were not allowed to give the exams without parental consultation.
Other: Our batch consists of 60 students. The only thing which should have improved is the quality of learning, by having smaller batches. Sometimes it gets difficult to train 60 students all at once.

It is a great college for Diploma.
Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. Since it is a Diploma college, not many people opt for placements after studies, and instead, they pursue a degree. The average salary I heard of was 20,000 per month. Most of the students who applied got a job. Siemens was one of the companies that came for placements.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in this institute. All other facilities are great here. Classrooms have ACs, the library has a huge collection of books, and the labs are very well-equipped with proper facilities. High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the campus. There are two grounds, one basketball court, and one badminton court. There is also a sports room for carrom, chess, and table tennis. There are also pool tables, PS4s, and gaming PCs available for students.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable enough and teach pretty well. The curriculum is of MSBTE, and I would say it is well-designed for the introductory level. Any student that asks for help is given attention and help. There is a lot of practical knowledge to be gained throughout the course that will definitely help students in their future.
Other: The canteens are pretty great here. There is a PCB lab which is really good. Technical events take place very often, and other speakers are also invited for seminars. A yearly fest is also well organised.

The campus is awesome. Classrooms and even the toilets are very clean.
Placements: Above 75% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Usha Fans, Whirlpool and many more companies. It is a very good college for the best placements. Very best companies visit this college, and the best roles are offered. Overall, it is a very nice college to start a career.
Infrastructure: Very good facilities and infrastructure are available here. Classrooms and teachers are very good. I like to play cricket and football in this college. It is not a residential college.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and very talented. They are very helpful and are very best. They help me even in their busy times. They teach you how many times you ask them. There are nice courses.
Other: Scholarships are provided in this college.

Q:   How do I apply for PSU jobs after completing B.Tech Electronics Engineering?
A:

Many PSUs conduct direct recruitment on the basis of marks scored in GATE instead of conducting their own separate recruitment examiantion. Electronics Engineer will also be required to qualify GATE in order to secure a job in PSUs.
