Placements: In law, the placement structure is different from technical or management courses. Formal placement through the placement cell is pretty limited. Approximately 10% to 15% of students opt for and secure placement through the college placement cell, while the majority pursue an independent path such as litigation, judiciary preparation, corporate internship, or higher studies.
Infrastructure: In VESCOL, there are 2 wings, each wing is of 7 floors, and there are 2 classrooms per floor with washrooms on each and every floor. The classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, whiteboards and a projector. There is a library, canteen, girls' common room, and boys' common room. The quality of food (veg/non-veg) in the canteen is really good. The canteen is common (1 canteen in the whole campus).
Faculty: There are 15 teaching faculty, all of whom are well qualified, helpful and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of the faculty members have a strong academic background, along with practical exposure in the legal field. The teaching quality is theoretical with practical illustrations, class discussion and problem-based learning. Faculty members are approachable and supportive, especially during exams and competitions. There are 10 semesters in total, 2 semesters per year. The question paper is set by the Mumbai University. Exams are moderately difficult. 90% of the students pass the exam, with approximately 10% not clearing on the first attempt.

    A:

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject.
