B.A. LL.B. - Batch of 2027
4.0
We’re graduating next year.
Placements: College has a placement cell and encourages internships from the 3rd year onward, but does not provide as many placement opportunities as required. There are no campus placements as such, but there are referrals, i.e., professors may refer you where and when to apply, and also contact places for you. The faculty puts in the maximum effort they can.
Infrastructure: College premises are top-notch, but hostel facilities are not available; it is a 7-floor building with classrooms that can hold 70+ students at once, has a canteen with a nice balcony, a gymkhana with table tennis, chess, etc., and is one of the two law colleges in Mumbai that have their own campus, a complete separate building just for law.
Faculty: Faculty is amazing, they guide on all fronts. The qualified, experienced faculty are kind to students and create a pro-student atmosphere. Faculty and staff put special efforts into nurturing good lawyers and advocates. The college makes an effort to integrate discipline, work ethics, and overall grooming of the students. The college counsellor is approachable and does, in fact, solve students' issues. Counselling sessions are arranged by the college for free every third Thursday. The curriculum is relevant and in accordance with Mumbai University. The exams held are moderately difficult, comprising a combination of various levels of questions. The passing percentage is very high.
Other: Extracurricular activities are widely loved by students as well as professors, especially Lex Liga and the three-day sports events. In some events, even professors are invited to participate, and they eagerly do. The faculty is a young-hearted crowd of extremely knowledgeable people. There is no ragging whatsoever, you will never face bullying on any account or reason in this college. Faculty and even the principal are approachable, understanding, and kind towards the students. One thing the college can do to better the course is work on the campus placements. But again, law school requires you to step out into the real world and make efforts to get yourself to a position you will be passionate about.

Overall the experience is good, but for a college with a good campus, this isn't meant for you.
Placements: Every year they admit for about 120 students, if u are admitted through the CAP Allotment, feels for the same remains 50 thousand. Out of which I think they maintain the college really well. When it comes to internship or recruitment; college guarantee no recruitment or internship, instead they only promote government internship where the competition is really too high. If you are the one who stand out to be unique and SMART enough to not let go the chance, you win!
Further you also can continue seeking education for higher courses like LL. M in Criminal Law and Buisness Law.
Infrastructure: Genuinely seeking about the infrastructure, it is not too good, as it is very boring! As of my personal opinion one can really make a law college exciting for students as in appearance. They provide Wi-fi, college also has a good Library and a computer lab. Out of May be 20 Classrooms only one out of many is Air conditioning. Remaining have a good ventilation tho. If It comes to canteen, I would say it is the only happening place in the entire college. The food is average and yes very affordable. Some students will and do love the view.
Faculty: The faculty I would say is really appreciated. They try their best to keep the students at their high, but the length of the lectures should be taken in notice, as everyone understands it becomes hard for a student to make sure he is taking everything into note for 1 and a half hour, which I think is hard to maintain it for the same subject. Everything about the subjects and pass percentage is according to the university norms.
Other: Honesty speaking, even I am very good with my debating skills. But I guess every student from law field think that debate skills are the only thing to have throughout and for this field, but what makes a law student stand out is his observation skills, and I know I am good ATIT. So Law only because even after completing my course it gives me the freedom of anything to otp for, be it job, buisness or a litigant. What I think should be changed is the length of the course, the terms and also the subjects.
