The two institutions that are highly esteemed in Hyderabad - VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNR VJIET) and Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE) - have good records of placements. However, when it comes to placements, VNR VJIET is slightly better than Vasavi College of Engineering. There are better networks with industries for VNR VJIET which means that more companies including Google, Microsoft, and Amazon plus others visit the campus ensuring good rate of placement for students averaging 90% or even more with average salaries between 4-6 Lacs per year. Conversely, Vasavi College also has a good record on placement but about 80-85% gets jobs after their studies. In as much as they attract big names like Infosys, TCS among others they have lower average salary packages between 3-5 Lacs annually. Overall both institutions provide decent opportunities for placements but VNR VJIET’s stronger ties with the industry place it at an advantage slightly above that of Vasavi College in terms of statistics relating to placements.
