Rasta Center for Road Technology - VTU Extension Center has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
PG Diploma	The candidate must have an appropriate degree in engineering, science, geology, or similar or higher tertiary qualification
Certificate	The candidate must have a graduation degree in Engineering or relevant field.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university. Final year students can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates must have valid GATE score.

VTU Extension Center courses are approved by eminent Government bodies such as AICTE. The combined seats available for various programmes provided by VTU Extension Center goes up to 25.

Institute has a well supported campus with facilities such as Auditorium, Boys Hostel, Cafeteria, Co-ed Hostel, Girls Hostel, Gym, Hospital / Medical Facilities, Hostel, Labs, Library, Sports Complex, Wi-Fi Campus.

Courses offered by VTU Extension Center are M.E./M.Tech. These courses are in the stream of Engineering.
