XIC Entrance Test refers ONLY to the following Diploma Courses:
Journalism & Mass Communication
Public Relations & Corporate Communication
Advertising and Marketing Communication
Film, Television & Digital Video Production
Event Planning & Experiential Marketing

As per the recent data, 150 faculty intakes were accompanied by 250 admissions all over the country. Results in an impressive ratio of 5:3. However, the faculty-to-student ratio at Xavier University of Louisiana, which is 13:1, and at Saint Xavier University, which is 16:1.

For B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. (MCJ) / B.M.S. / B.Sc. (IT) and the First Year Post Graduate
Courses which include M.Sc. in Botany, Biotechnology, Geology, Life Science, Microbiology and
M.A. in AICA, Psychology and Public Policy, the College has an Online Application System
through a facility on its website. This facility is made available from the second half of May. An
incomplete application will not be considered for admission.
Admissions to B.Sc. (IT) will be based on the marks scored in Mathematics at the Std. XII Board
Exam. There will also be an entrance exam
Applications for admission to the BMS and BAMCJ courses are to be submitted online, and the
admission process includes an Entrance Test. Please look up the details on the Home Page of the
College website.
Admission to B.Com is through the College Office (Commerce Section), by filling out and
submitting a form in hard copy and through an interview with the Vice Principal of the Commerce
section or his representative
The University of Mumbai has made it mandatory for all candidates seeking admission to the first-year courses in the Degree Colleges to fill in the “Pre–Admission Online Registration Form”
which is available on mum. digital university. ac
Actual admissions to all courses will be on the announced days, through an interview of the
candidate and a parent/guardian. The offer of admission will be notified on the website and the College Notice Board. On being admitted, the student shall immediately submit the following
documents (Original along with attested photocopies):
- Class XII Statement of Marks for UG
2. Class XII copy of admit card (Hall Ticket) for UG
3. Degree Marksheets and Pass Certificate for PG (Original +2 Attested copies)
4. Baptism Certificate (for Minority Community - Christians)
5. Caste Certificate (wherever applicable)
6. Documentary Evidence for Special Category Status
7. Passing Certificate (required for getting Eligibility Certificate)
8. Migration Certificate (required for getting Eligibility Certificate)

The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) conducts the XIC Entrance Test (XET) to offer admissions to eligible candidates in mass communication courses available at the institute.
The online exam consists of two parts
- First is objective
- And the second is subjective
