My horrible college experience.

Placements: Placement is not good in college. Only a few students get placement, and the average package is of 3 lac per annum. And most of the placement drives colleges provide are off campus. Sometimes they arrange internships for students in the placement cell only.

Infrastructure: Campus contains lots of colleges like pharmacy, engineering, and nursing. There are always network issues in classrooms, and Wi-Fi is not provided. The quality of food in college is not good; once my friend found an insect in their canteen meal. Hostel washrooms are not cleaned properly.

Faculty: Faculty members are not at all helpful, and qualified teachers didn't even know which topic is important for the university exam, and some rich kids pass with their money. Rumor has it that teachers pass students per subject; the fee is 25,000. And teachers target specific students the whole semester if he/she goes against them.

Dissatisfied by the college placement cell in 2024.

Placements: There is a low percentage of students who got a good package. The top recruiting company was Qspider, which is a training institute. The top roles are in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The highest package offered in my course is 3-4 LPA (lakhs per annum).

Infrastructure: There is very good infrastructure along with wifi, books, magazines, etc., in the library. There is a hostel facility, but I do not recommend it; however, the mess food quality is much better. The overall infrastructure, such as classrooms and labs, is much better.

Faculty: Teachers are truly available to help students. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not so difficult, and the passing criteria is 32 marks. The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but their teaching quality is not so good.

Other: Events, fests, and the campus surroundings are quite enjoyable. Scholarships are provided by the institute. The areas that can be improved in the college are the placement cell and labs.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements. It has good faculty members and amenities.

Placements: 80-90% students get placed in the course. The highest package offered is 4 Lacs per annum on-campus. The lowest package offered is 1 Lac per annum and the average package is 2 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are real estate companies. Some students got internships as campus ambassadors in various institutes. Top role offered is that of junior developer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The classrooms are just like that or schools only. A library is available with ample amount of books. The hostel is pretty good having enough facilities. The mess food quality is average, not good or bad. Medical facilities are available along with sports and games being available.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and it doesn't make us industry ready. The semester exams are moderate, neither hard nor easy. The passing percentage is 35% meaning a minimum of 6 SGPA is to be maintained with an all clear status.

If admissions in *** have been close, opt for this.

Placements: I have completed my engineering, and not a moment in my 3 years at that institute did I develop any sort of attachment to the institution. No placements for the past 10 years till 2025, and maybe the same even in the future. The batch strength was also poor, and worse was the faculty strength and knowledge.

Infrastructure: I did not take admission in the hostel, however, the infrastructure was poor, and I did not see any security or facilities. The canteen looked dirty, and the food was also not edible. The girls' hostel was practically empty, and no warden in general was present.

Faculty: No actual teaching, practical or seminars have been conducted in my 3 years of experience in the college. There were no faculty members who were capable of teaching in the institution. Only because the institution is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, the curriculum was relevant.

Other: This college should be your last choice only when you don't want to skip a year.
