B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2021
2.2
Everything is good, but there is no proper management and permanent faculty members.
Placements: Placements are not provided since I started studying in college. The placement cell was superb, but there was no placement officer. CRT classes are also not provided for final year students. At least they are not giving information about off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Labs and the library are provided with high quality, but due to less usage and no proper maintenance, equipment is not in use. Food is the best and provided with high quality and better quantity, and students are satisfied with food. Timings of the library were not followed, and there are no updated journals.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful, but frequently faculty members are changing every semester. Academics-wise, no proper guidance was provided, and there are no updates. The management system is poor. The pass percentage is not good, and at least 40% of the students are also not passing yearly.

I am satisfied because of teachers, good placements provided in 2015 and really good infrastructure.
Placements: About 67% of the students from our stream were placed. The lowest salary package offered here was 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course is Navayuga Constructions Pvt Ltd, and the top role offered in our course is a junior structural engineer. We got 8 more companies, which were led by my placement authority. Two companies out of them were not our core companies. However, we tried those interviews to gain some knowledge about interviews and to get rid of the fear of interviews.
Infrastructure: There are well and certified laboratories in our college in our entire region. Boys and girls have separate hostel facilities, and even free Wi-Fi facility was available from 2 years to 4 years batches. The food served here was hygiene, and our management was also great.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Our college has the best teaching faculty members, and every teacher is well graduated. Even our technical faculty members were well known associated professors. The course curriculum makes us well and thoroughly knowledgeable.
Other: I have chosen this course as I really want to become a structural engineer. Our college helped me a lot to achieve my goal. Now I am a senior structural engineer in Navayuga Constructions, Hyderabad.

Very good college with good infrastructure.
Placements: Very nice. Cognizant, Surya Tech solutions, HGS, Vertex, Infosys, IBM, In our college we have individual branch association leading with their branch HOD. Students will be selected as President, Vice president, treasurer, secretary, joint secretary and some Coordinators. Technical Fests and Workshops are conducted by students under the guidance of respective HOD.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi, good classroom well furnished, library with around 23000 volumes, Good food will nice canteen, big seminar hall with around 500 seating capacity and function hall with 1500 seating,. Peaceful climate with trees and grass around. Love this college.
Faculty: Well qualified professionals and associate professor's and assistant professor's. They helped students in every aspect. They conduct regular industrial visits such as SHAR, NARL, Radio and Doordarshan. These are very helpful for all the students to improve practical experience.

The college is good in infrastructure, but bad in rules.
Placements: The placements were not that much good for us even for the senior batches. Approximately 20% were got selected. They offered nearly 6 lakh per annum. Globussoft, Infosys, HCL are major companies that visited our college. There is a good placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was awesome. Ther are proper lab facilities for all type of courses. The library is available for the students. There is no sports and games for the students. The canteen was good.
Faculty: The faculty were very good in giving the information to the students. When comes to teaching quality, some are not at all professionals and giving classes. Few were very at the technical side. We didn't get even single industry exposure from the college. It was very bad for us.

Dissatisfied because of rules.
Placements: For our batch, we got 1 or 2 companies came for the placement that those 2 are consultancies. Fee got selected, and they didn't get any offer letters after selecting the guys from the college. Now they don't even have the placement officer properly. It was the worst for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good, but there are strict rules for the students. It should not be like that for students. Apart from that rest is okay. The canteen needs to develop. Remaining maintenance was good in the college, and there is a good environment in the college, and we also got a prize for the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty was good, and they were very close to the students. Clarifying the doubts then and there itself. Giving the real-time examples to the students to understand simply. If they don't know they will learn and tell the students it was good for them.

Yogananda Institute of Technology and Science has a good infrastructure.
Placements: We have minimum placements where our college has got many opportunities from different companies to achieve the goal for the students who have talent as well as we have a placement office and an officer who brought the national companies to give a new career to us.
Infrastructure: Our college has square feet about eight acres where it has a huge infrastructure and a very well labs. There are also facilities like e-classroom and a sports ground, volleyball place, kabaddi, and other indoor games such as carrom, table tennis. We have an e-library with 25 systems where we can use the internet.
Faculty: The teachers who teach us are well-disciplined and well-educated. There are teachers from top universities. The teachers thought us in a unique manner where each student has understood the topic among the classes. The faculty ratio among the teachers and students are equivalent to 90 percent.

Overall, I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: Placements of my super-seniors were not good, but this year when our seniors are in their last year, they have got nice placements with an average package in average companies. Overall, the placements this year were good, and all the students who have got placements, were very happy.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Not too good nor too bad. We have got every laboratory equipped with efficient machines and tools for our course experiment. We also have got a big ground, but the cafeteria here is not good. The classes here are nice. Overall, the campus here is average.
Faculty: The faculty available in our college is nice and well qualified. They are very helpful with a friendly nature. The student-faculty ratio is also 30:1. The course curriculum is also very useful. We have got an industrial exposure several times. Their teaching methods are not too good, and we can call it as average.
Other: Many events are organised every year. Also, the college fests are great, and the campus crowd is average. The campus surroundings are full of greenery. Also, regular scholarship tests are there for every student, which is organised every year. Many extra-curricular activities are also available for the students. They can also choose anyone in whom they have got their interest in.

The placements and the facilities are neither good nor bad.
Placements: The placement percentage is getting above 75% to my college. The percent of the students got placed in that is up to 60%. They offered the salary 15K per month to 36K per month. Most of the companies visited are software. For mechanical, civil engineering, and the others got the tire core companies to hire the students.
Infrastructure: In my college, the free Wi-Fi facility is available. The labs are well-furniture, and the classrooms are well-ventilated. There are more games and sports to encourage the students. The library which has more books related to the subjects and the others also. In the canteen, the food was a little bit less quality and not up to the mark. The hostel rooms are good to stay.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and highly talented. The courses offered are good, and most of the useful courses are given to the students. The teaching style they use is both board and monitor to explain. Most of the faculty members use projector and videos to explain. Every year, there will be an industrial tour for all the students in the different sectors.
