Garment construction is a major part of the Fashion Design curriculum. Students don't just design on paper, they actually create garments. This includes:

  • Drafting patterns

  • Cutting fabric

  • Stitching and finishing garments

  • Fittings and alterations

Over semesters, students move from simple silhouettes to more complex garments.

Hi,

Construction management is the planning, coordination, and oversight of the entire construction process, from initial designs to final completion. It ensures projects are built on time, within budget, and according to safety standards. Think of it as the conductor of a complex orchestra, bringing together architects, engineers, contractors, and workers to achieve a successful build.

Hope it clears your question !
