Construction Eligibility

Students of a PhD in construction management degree programme will be required to complete a certain number of core courses. In some instances, there could be as few as two courses, at other times four or five core construction management courses are required and you have already have completed your MBA in project leadership management. Many universities require that applicants hold a Masters degree in construction management or construction engineering.A Ph.D. in construction management is the terminal degree for professionals who wish to apply for supervisory positions at construction job sites. Coursework is geared towards an individual's specific academic interest in the field. The construction management Ph.D. programme allows students the opportunity to study and conduct research in a particular area of interest within the field. Upon completion, graduates are ready to take on a supervisory role on construction sites or become a university professor.
