Exam Pattern & Syllabus for FDDI AIST 2017

Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) conducts All India Selection Test (AIST) to offer admission to aspirants in undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes offered by it. For the upcoming academic session, FDDI AIST exam is scheduled to be conducted between June 9 and 11.

FDDI admissions 2017 will be done on the basis of a candidate’s score in FDDI AIST. All eligible candidates can apply for FDDI AIST 2017 in the online mode on the official website of the institute. Last date to apply for FDDI AIST exam is May 22, 2017.

FDDI offers various UG and PG level courses in the field of design, retail, and fashion. These include:

• BSc - Footwear Design & Production
BSc - Retail & Fashion Merchandise
BSc - Fashion Leather Accessory Design
• MSc - Retail & Fashion Merchandise
• MSc - Footwear Design & Production
• MSc - Creative Design & CAD/CAM

FDDI AIST 2017 Pattern

FDDI AIST is a computer-based exam conducted in Hindi and English languages. The FDDI entrance exam pattern is such that the paper contains a total of 150 multiple choice questions. The FDDI AIST exam is divided into four sections – Section A, B, C, and D. Students need to complete all sections in 2.5 hours duration.

Each question in FDDI entrance exam carries one mark and there is no negative marking in the exam.

FDDI AIST 2017 Syllabus

The syllabus for FDDI AIST conducted for UG and PG course admissions is different.
As already mentioned above, for UG course admissions at FDDI, candidates will be evaluated on topics related to General Awareness, English, Mathematics, and General Science. It may be noted that questions asked in the exam would be of intermediate level.

For PG course admissions at FDDI, candidates need to study topics related General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning, and Business Aptitude. Questions asked in the exam would be of graduation level.
