Along with online classes, I make time to read novels, write articles, learn languages: Deepthi, SPMVV

Due to COVID-19, the entire world is in a lockdown situation. There is an advantage as well as a disadvantage due to this lockdown. There are different types of losses occurred in this world, including financial loss.
The present lockdown situation has been a challenge for everyone, but it has also given new opportunities. At present, every person is using technology to get their work done. Technology plays a crucial role in every sector such as education, hospitals, industries, software companies, hardware companies, etc.
In my opinion, there is a vast difference between an online class and a brick and mortar class. I prefer brick-and-mortar classes to online classes as attending brick-and-mortar classes permit students to participate in interactive learning wherein they can easily interact with their professors and classmates without any distractions. On the other hand, in online classes, there are often distractions during the class with disruptions in internet connections.
However, there are few advantages of online classes as well. The first advantage is that students can attend their classes on a computer or smartphones from anywhere in the world. Moreover, online classes provide students with freedom and customisation. In the current scenario, online classes are being conducted daily. Initially, it was exciting to attend an online session, however, with time it has also become a usual part of the daily routine. Honestly, I am enjoying online classes, though I do not prefer. The online classes are helping us to complete our syllabus.
I do not prefer online classes but now as the situation demands, so I am trying to adapt.
Moreover, there are no other opinions for me. Therefore, I have to go with online classes to prepare for the upcoming semester examinations.
At first, I felt so happy as holidays were declared, but at the same time, it is difficult for me to stay at home. Later on, I realised not to waste the time in hand. Time is precious for everyone but for students, it is more crucial. I decided to use this extra leisure time in learning new skills. After attending the online classes, in the rest of the time, I read novels, write articles, learn languages, learn cooking, etc.
I am spending most of the time for preparation of the entrance examinations as I am planning to pursue higher studies. Also, I am waiting for the admit card and exact date of the examination. So, I use my time in reading and practising the topics, after that, I am writing mock tests and attempting online quizzes.
Due to the pandemic, my second mid examinations have been postponed. Also, I do not have any information from my college authority when the exams will be conducted. At present, online classes are going on to complete the entire syllabus on time. So, I think after completion of the syllabus, the university examinations would be conducted.
Everyone is busy with their schedule, but this break has provided me with a great opportunity to spend much time with my parents. With this, it has also allowed me to enhance and learn new skills. Also, I make some time for meditation and yoga to control stress and tension.
