Know the pattern of the exam and high scoring topics for devising a plan to crack the competitive exam.
One of the most common state-level entry examinations in India is Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical (KEAM), conducted by the Commissioner for Entry Examination (CEE). The state-level entrance exams are no less as compared to other national exams like JEE and NEET. Almost every major state in India organises admission tests for various courses offered by colleges or institutes throughout the country. Last week Training tips To Crack KEAM 2020
In this article, we will discuss the last week tips to crack KEAM.
Mathematics
While preparing for Maths, the calculation steps should not be given much importance as nobody cares about these steps, and the focus is solely on the answer. The important topics of Mathematics are Algebra, Calculus and Geometry. The students should learn all the formulae by writing these on a separate notebook and revise these daily to get a grip on the subject. The Geometry unit includes essential circles and families of circles and the unit of Trigonometry should be practised regularly as direct questions come from these topics. Practise all the important topics of Algebra as this is the most important unit.
Physics
The syllabus of Physics is vast, hence students should focus on understanding the basic concepts. Prepare topics like Solid and Fluid Mechanics Oscillations, Waves and Gravity. The important unit in Physics is the Thermodynamics and Heat Direct questions in calculation often comes from Optics, Atomic Core and Motion Rules.
Chemstry
Like Physics, KEAM Chemistry syllabus is also extensive. Learn and practise the Fundamental Principles of Chemical, Molecular, Material and Periodic Table Structure. Do not get confused in d-block and the f-block elements in s-block. These are the high scoring units. Solve the chemical balance in the end as it takes too long to solve a single question. This trick is very important for the units such as Chemistry, the Chemistry of Surfaces and the Electrochemistry. In the Chemistry section, answer the simplest questions first as this would save time which could be utilised to cover other sections.
The reference books that the students could refer to prepare for KEAM are:
- NCERT Organic Chemistry
- Reference Books by KEAM
- Arihant Publishers Principles of Physics by H. P. Tandon Objective Physics
- Halliday, Resnick and Walker Mathematics series by C. Verma Foundations of Physics. Sharma's D
