IIT Bombay launches certificate courses in digital transformation, power electronics
Interested candidates can apply for bothย programmesย till November 19, 2021 and classes will begin on November 20, 2021.ย
Theย Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, in partnership withย edtechย platform Coursera, has launched two new certificateย programmesย โ digital transformation and power electronics and motors for electric vehicles (EVs). Theย programmesย will help learners gain technical, managerial and leadership skills,ย including strategic decision-making, business operations, data management, and electric vehicle technology, improving learnersโ overall employability, including young professionals, for high-demand jobs.ย ย
Interested candidates can apply for bothย programmesย until November 19, 2021. The classes will begin on November 20, 2021.ย Four-month digital transformation certification, with live lectures, is designed for non-IT managers leading digital transformation initiatives. The course teaches how to identify opportunities to transform theย organisationย through strategic implementation of new technologies and builds analytical skills to understand how to implement and execute the right solutions.ย
Theย programmeย will be taught by Prof Rajendra Sonar of the Shailesh J Mehta School of Management at IIT Bombay. Senior industry leader Suhrid Brahma will be the visiting faculty for theย programme.ย
Power Electronics and Motors for Electric Vehicles (EVs), a 4.5-month certificateย programmeย covers courses in motor design, power converter design and motor drives. Theย programmeย will be taught by Dr BG Fernandes, Kishore Chatterjee and Sandeep Anand from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay.ย ย
IIT Bombayย is the most employable institute in the country, as per the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022.ย The institute moved up to the 101-110 group from 111-120 group in 2020.ย
