IMU CET 2015: How to apply online

Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is used as an entrance examination for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes such as B Tech degree in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, and Marine Engineering offered by IMU campuses and affiliated institutes.
The aspirants who have cleared 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% in English and 60% marks in PCM, and also those awaiting their Class 12th or UG final exam results are eligible to apply for this entrance test.
IMU CET 2015 is scheduled to be conducted on May 9 from 2pm to 5pm in the afternoon and the eligible students interested in pursuing B Tech in aforementioned universities or institutes can register themselves online and fill the online application form on the official website of IMU. The last date for registering online is April 22, 2015.
Give below is the application process of IMU CET 2015.
Step 1: Visit the official website of IMU and click on the ‘Common Entrance Test May 2015’ link on the homepage.
Step 2: Next, begin with the online registration process by clicking on the ‘CLICK HERE to fill the Online Application form’.
Step 3: A soon as you click on the link, you will be directed to a different web page ‘Online Registration - CET May 2015’ wherein you will have to fill the application form by carefully entering all requisite details including your personal information and address, as well as contact details.
Step 4: In step 4, you will have to upload scanned copy of your photograph and signature.
Step 5: Next, you will be required to choose the CET you are applying for i.e. UG and also opt for preferred exam cities. Further, you will have to fill in your academic details and declare that the information provided by you is true in all respects.
Step 6: In this step, check and recheck the details filled by you and then click on ‘Submit’ button. After you submit it, you will receive a unique application number which will also be sent to you via E-mail and SMS. For future logins, use this application number as your ‘User ID’ and your date of birth as ‘Password’.
Step 6: After submitting the form, download challan by clicking on the ‘Download Challan’ button.
Step 7: Make offline payment in any SBI Branch and note down Journal Number mentioned in the Challan.
Step 8: After making the payment in a SBI Branch, click on the link ‘CLICK HERE to enter the Payment details and complete the Online Registration Process’ and enter your username and password on the page that follows.
Step 9: In this step, click on the ‘Edit’ button to update your payment details.
Step 10: Lastly, update you payment details, upload a scanned copy of the Challan, click on ‘Submit’ button and this completes your online application process.
