March: Keep this month mainly for studying and giving the Board Exams except.However, try and take out few hours to solve IITJEE level problems in the gaps between exams.

April: As JEE (Main) is scheduled for April 6, 2014 one can only revise formulae and take Mock Tests.

are advised to take a few reputed JEE (Advanced) Mock Test.

 

All the three subjects Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics are equally important. Two to three hours per subject is the minimum time one must put into solving JEE level problems and that too on a daily basis. It will be the quality of time spent on self study that will count in the end.

It is advisable to take a minimum of 10 new pattern Mock Tests from a reputed source and solve at least last 5 years IITJEE papers.

  1. For JEE, practice as much as you can that will help one clear all concepts. Generally one must keep in mind the following things while preparing:
  1. Always start from BASICS.
  2. Build up on the right and appropriate CONCEPT.
  3. Don’t refer to solutions before doing a SELF-ATTEMPT at least five times till you get the right answer.
  4. Avoid leaving the question in between because one must learn to understand till what level his/ her concepts are clear. One may also fail to see how close they were to the answer.
  5. Always try a question with a CONCEPTUAL APPROACH and not just read the question then start doing without getting the point that what question is saying.
  6. Your study schedule should be such that you will even easily get time to relax.
  7. Also, you will have to take appropriate sleep or rest of at least six hours a day if you are preparing for JEE. Otherwise your mind set for next day will not be in place.
  8. Never cram. Try to UNDERSTAND the problem or theory.
  9. Never lose your self-confidence.
  10. Don’t over-stress yourself by going beyond the syllabus.
