MH CET 2016 Application Form and Process
The application process for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) 2016 begins on March 1, 2016 for admissions to various engineering programmes in different colleges in Maharashtra. MHCET 2016 is a state level examination conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra for admissions to first year B.E/B.Tech programmes in the state. The last date to register for the exam is March 22, 2016 and the candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from April 25, 2016. As per the information released on the official website of DTE, MHCET 2016 will be held on May 5, 2016. Interested students can apply for the exam now to ensure a successful registration. However, they need to first make sure that they fulfill all the necessary requirement to appear for the exam, only then their registration will be considered valid. MH CET 2016 Application Process

Aspirants can apply for the exam in three simple steps:
- Registration
- Filling the application form
- Payment
Registration & Filling the application form
In order to register for MH CET 2016 online, candidate need to visit the official website of exam conducting authority and do the following:
- Click “MH CET 2016 Registration”
- Fill up the online form with personal details such as name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number and course applied for.
- Candidate then need to upload a recent colour passport size photograph and signature.
- Once the form is filled completely, candidate will be prompted to enter his/her email id, mobile No. and a password on the first login.
- Password need to be kept safely to be used later during counseling and even while downloading the admit card.
- Applicant now needs to complete his/her education details.
- They are now required to upload the scanned copy (digital) of recent colour photograph and signature, which should not be more than *50 KB per file. Also, applicant needs to upload the Photograph and Signature only in “JPEG” format.
Payment
After uploading the Photograph and Signature successfully, candidate needs to proceed further to generate the bank challan for payment through ‘State Bank of India.’
- Download MH CET 2016 Bank Challan and take a print out on an A4 size paper on a single page. The bank challan should have MH CET 2016 Registration No., Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, and Date of Registration printed on it.
- There will be two parts of challen, one of which is required to be submitted in the SBI branch.
- Take the printed MH CET 2016 Bank Challan to any of the SBI branches to make the payment after 48 hours of registration.
- Candidates need to pay Rs 800 + Rs 60 as registration fee (Rs 600 + Rs 60 for reserved category candidates. The amount is not refundable.
- Once the payment is done, candidates can visit the official website of MH CET 2016 and login using his/her Registration No. and password to confirm the payment.
- A confirmation page will open up and this will complete the registration process for MH CET 2016.
- Candidate needs to keep a copy of MH CET 2016 registration No. and Password for all future correspondence with MH CET office.
