PESSAT 2015: Counselling Process & Documents Required
PESSAT 2015 Counselling: The counselling process for PESSAT 2015 by PES University is scheduled to commence on June 6. The first round of counselling will be held on two days – June 6 and June 7. Take a look at the PESSAT 2015 Counselling Schedule for Round 1 here.
Please note that the candidates with ranks above 3000 will be called for the second round of counselling. Take a look at the important dates for PESSAT 2015 here.
It is advised that aspirants should report at the prescribed reporting time. Only after completing the registration process, they would be able to attend the seat allocation process.
Aspirants can take up a seat based on the following options.
| Option A: |
Candidates will take the seat, submit DDs, all originals and complete the admission process |
| Option B: |
Candidate will take the seat, submit DDs, attested copies of all originals with the understanding that the last date to submit the originals is June 26, baring which the seat will be forfeited. This will be the provisional Admission given to the student. |
| Option C: |
Reject the seat as the desired seat is not available or for any other reasons |
| Option D: |
Reject the seat & choose to attend the second round of counselling. The second round of counselling is scheduled to the last week of June / first week of July. |
This process might take 3 or 4 hours to complete, thus, aspirants are requested to be patient & complete the process on the same day.
Refund policy: If an aspirant rejects the seat after the counselling/seat selection or fail to submit all the original documents before June 26, the seat will be declared forfeited and the seat will be assigned to the new candidate in the second Round of Counselling/Seat Selection.
Also, a refund of Rs. 2,80,000 only will be mailed to the candidate's home address or he/she can collect it from the admissions information centre.
Important documents to be carried on the day of counselling:
1. Two DDs in favour of PES UNIVERSITY - GENERAL FUND payable at Bangalore:
- For Rs. 2,80,000/-
- For Rs. 5000/-
Please note that no other payment mode will be accepted.
2. PESSAT Hall Ticket & Rank Card. Print your Rank Card.
3. 10+2 Marks Card (PUC)
4. 10th Marks Card (SSLC)/Birth Certificate
5. Transfer Certificate/College Leaving Certificate (if applicable)
6. Migration Certificate (If other than PU Board) (if applicable)
7. Passport & Stamp Size Photos 6 Copies each
7. Copy of Fee receipt
If the candidate is attending the CET Verification Process the same day/session then he will be allowed to bring his guardian/parent to represent the candidate. However, for this, aspirants will have to take prior approval by downloading the authorization letter and submit with the proof document of the candidate attending the CET Verification Process.
Note:
- Original + 3 Sets of attested photo copies are required in the above mentioned order.
- Only the candidate + 1 Parent / Guardian will be allowed for counseling / seat selection process.
- Documents can be self-attested.
- The documents to be attested are the Marks card copies (10th, 12th), Migration certificate copy and Transfer Certificate copy.
