- Revision is important for all the examinations. The students should thoroughly revise each topic to score well.
- Writing mock tests is also important during the last month. This would help in improving the score and performance each day.
- Practising previous year papers and sample papers are crucial to achieving high scores in the exam
- Use technology like online videos, etc. to clarify doubts and concepts
- Eat healthy and sleep for at least seven to eight hours to reduce stress and tension
- Take guidance from seniors, faculty, etc. on how to improve your score, if possible
Time Management
Managing time is important during the exam. One should practise mock tests and complete the same within the time frame. This would help in managing time in a better way.
High-weightage Topics
Every student needs to know the scoring topics to enhance their score. All subjects in the examination include scoring topics, so, one should know these topics during the preparation. To know the scoring topics, first, know the syllabus and refer to previous years question papers. For example, Mathematics has high-weightage in the exam, hence, each topic should be covered from this subject.
High-weightage Topics
Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, and Coordinate
Chemistry: Organic Chemistry is more important as compared to Inorganic Chemistry
Physics: Mechanics, Electrostatics and Magnetism, Current Electricity, Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics and Modern Physics
English and Logical Reasoning sections carry 15 marks, hence, the students need to focus on these subjects as well to score well. In English, topics such as grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension is important.
Thorough revision
For any competitive examination like BITSAT, thorough revision and an organised study plan play a crucial role to crack the exam. The students need to prepare a study plan to cover all the topics on time. An organised study plan would help in reducing the chance of skipping any topic during preparation. The study plan should also include mock tests, revision of completed topics, etc.
Studying the topics, revising them, practising sample papers, and giving mock tests are important to crack the exam with high scores.
Class 12 and BITSAT preparation
For most of the students, managing 12th and BITSAT preparation is difficult. There are many ways for making this process easier. Firstly, students could study concept-oriented topics. Prioritise the similar topics in Class 12 and BITSAT examination. Then revise these topics to ensure a better grip on the subject. Prepare running notes during lectures in colleges and revise them before the examination.
